A word of advice, just read the last one or two chapters before you read this one, I know its been a while since I last updated so just to refresh your memory.

Marinette's POV

The time I've been anxiously waiting for has come. It's the night before we present our well, presentations to the Italians and the Miraculous's court. I'm a nervous wreck. I'm scared, I'm worried what people will think.

I would talk to Nathanael about my idea, but I'm worried that if anything does go wrong, he'll only blame himself. That's the last thing I want to do.

I had everything I needed. I had evidence to support my idea. I just needed to tell Adrien about the book. THe book, the book. If Adrien found out I had taken it without my permission, he wouldn't be mad...woud he?

I couldn't risk it. I had to tell him before he found out himself. I didn't necessarily steal the book, I just was holding it and accidentally took it with me...and decided to borrow it?

I nervously paced around in the hallway, with the book in my hands, hoping none of the guards would recognize it. Should I knock? Should I go back to my room?

"You're cute when you're tensed, you know?"A voice said behind me.

I whirled around, to find Adrien. "Oh, its you. How long have you been here?"

"Five minutes. I've been watching you pace outside my door. WHy are you so scared? You can ask me anything, you know?" He said.

"I know...it's just..." I couldn't bring myself to tell him about the book.

"Are you nervous for tomorrow? Don't worry, you can run your speech by me if you like. Finesse did." Adrien said.

I sighed. Of course Finesse did. But I forced a smile. "No thanks, I prefer it to be a surprise. It's just...can we go into your room and talk?"

"Of course." Adrien opened the door and we sat on his bed.

I gestured to the book, covering the title. "listen, this...promise you won't get mad."

Adrien smiled. "I could never get mad at you."

I know it was supposed to ease me, but his words only made me more tensed up. He was so sweet, and here I was, selfishly ruining it.

"I...I've been keeping something from you. A week ago, I got lost in the palace corridors, and I ended up in this room, where I found this book. I was planning to take a quick look at it and put it back, but then you and your father came in. I bolted, but I accidentally took the book with me."I sighed. "I'm so irresponsible. Anyway, this book, it's really important for my presentation...but it's also important to you."

Adrien nodded, understanding the situation. "Okay, but next time, tell me earlier when this kind of thing happens." He said.

I was relieved. "So...you're not mad?"

He shook his head. "How could I possibly be mad at you?"

I threw my arms around him. "Thank you! Thank you so much!"

He returned the hug. "Good luck tomorrow."

I smiled, and got ready to leave when he said: "Wait, Marinette?"

"Yes?"

"Are you sure you don't want to run your presentation by me?" He asked.

I shook my head. "Thanks, but I'm good."

HIIIIIIII!!!! Its been a while, I know. I wanted to let you guys know of my new fanfic. It's called. "The Princess and the Cat"

K, so you've all watched Disney's "The Princess and the Frog," right? If you haven't, you should. It's really good. So recently, I watched this movie and fell in love with it. Then, I had this crazy idea: why not do a crossover of this movie and miraculous? So, here it is. Why should I tell you? It's up to you if you want to read it or not.
