Chapter 34: Public Love

* Ebony's POV *

Things were becoming pretty serious between J & I. He had been at my house the whole week.

J Cole: I was thinking about New York this weekend.

Ebony: Oh really. How long are you staying? I'll miss you.

J Cole: No you won't.

Ebony: Yes, I really will.

J Cole: No, you won't cause WE are going to New York for the weekend.

Ebony: Really J?

J Cole: Yup.

Ebony: Are you serious?

J Cole: Yes.

Ebony: Are you sure?

J Cole: Definitely

Ebony: Are you

J Cole: Ebony, we're going to New York. Nothing around it.

Ebony: Awww

He grabbed me close to him from behind & held my hands.

J Cole: We're gonna go & have fun. Dinners, shopping, & adventure.

Ebony: Okay.

J Cole: Anything for you.

I bent my head back for our kiss & smiled.

The Weekend...

We had just arrived in New York. Pulling up to the hotel, paparazzi were already standing outside. I'm guessing word had gotten around about one of us being there. J stepped out, holding my hand directing me into the hotel lobby without getting lost through the crowd. Many pictures were being taken. We walked inside & the manager led us to our suite.

Manager: I'm sorry about that Mr Cole & Ms Cole. Had no idea how they found out about you're visit.

J Cole: That's fine.

Manager: If you need anything, just buzz us. We'll have everything here ASAP. We're honored you chose us to enjoy you're stay.

J Cole: Okay.

Manager: Ms Cole, that's a wonderful dress you're wearing.

Ebony: Thank you. It's Dolce.

Manager: Okay.

He gave me a confusing look & handed J the key.

Manager: Again, y'all enjoy you're stay.

J Cole: We will.

We walked inside. Headed down the hall into the elevator, the manager shook his head.

Manager: Ugliest damn rag I've seen any celebrity wearing in a while.

The elevator door closed.
