I unlocked the bar, stepping in and turning on the front lights, I paused as a random bang echoed around.
I narrowed my eyes and stood still, looking around to see if anything fell beside me from the small gust of wind of opening the door.
And then it happened again, but this time it was something shattering.
I racked my brain for answers and it only took a second to process that it could only be one person.
"Yata." I mumbled, shoving the keys in my pocket as I started running towards his room, flying down the stairs and almost falling as I made a hard turn at the bottom of the stairs into Misaki's messy room.
I stopped to catch my breath, watching as he pitched a random water bottle to the wall. Tears covered his face and I almost started crying myself at the sight.
I stood still, not wanting to interfere. He obviously needed to do this to let some of his anger out, and better on replaceable objects then on me, or another person.
Or on himself.
I watched closely as he picked up a picture frame, looking at it for a second, his shoulders shook. He rose it above his head and I got a glimpse of Mikoto's smiling face, and without even thinking I sprung forward.
"No!" I cried, managing to grab the other end of the frame and stopping him from smashing it down on the ground.
"Not this." I breathed, taking it lightly from his hands, his arm dropped back down to his side and he turned and harshly rubbed at his eyes, wiping away the tears.
I turned the frame over and looked at the picture. It was a picture taken a while ago by some random guy visiting the bar. I stood just in font of Yata with both my hands up in peace signs, a huge grin on my face.
Yata too, had a big smile that I wish I could see again.
I ran my fingers lightly over the picture, mumbling Mikoto's and Tatara's name.
It feels like forever ago, when everything was working out. Where it felt like we were all invincible.
