I took a shaky breath, swallowing hard, "I.. I have a boyfriend now."
"Really?" He pulled back, but didn't let go of my hand. He looked down to me with caring eyes, "Does he make you feel like I do?"
"Stop it." I snapped, yanking my hand from his grip his eyes widened slightly, "He's nothing like you - and that's a good thing."
He chuckled and my stomach flipped, fuck.
"I see your still as feisty as ever."
"Don't start with the short jokes again." I sighed.
"I'd never thought I'd see the day you had a job."
"Well, that's none of your business. I'm working, go away."
"Alright." He shrugged, "But just so you know, I'll be coming here again."
I shut my eyes in frustration as he walked past me.
"And Yuri?" He paused, "I know you still love me."

I broke down when I came back to the bar, Yata held me close and ran his hands through his hair to sooth me, telling me it would be okay. Zhoa was right, he was right... after all this time I still loved him. But there was one thing for sure, that I didn't love him like I loved Misaki.
"Okay, what happened?" He asked as I finally calmed down.
I shook my head, hugging him tighter to me. I couldn't tell him, could I? Zhoa wouldn't hesitate to laugh at him and get into a fight. I know Yata's strong, but right now, I don't want anyone hurt.
Zhoa lived a homeless life too, his parents were abusive and he came to hang out a lot with me in the alley, claiming it was the only place he felt safe. He said he would never leave me, and we could live forever young as the stray kids of the city.
We fell in love with each other.
But when Rei came along, he left, he disappeared and never came back and everything went dark. I don't know what happened to him, but I do know that he's not much different than what he was. He still has that same effect on me.
"I love you." I whispered, I know now, Zhoa, The person who really will never leave my side,
"I love you, Yata."
"I love you too."
