Yata was much more encouraged at the return of Kusanagi-san, and when Anna suddenly awakened as the reborn red king, an aura burning stronger than it ever had before, I felt like I had all the power in the world. With these three by my side, I felt completely invincible.
I figured Kusangi-san must have said something to Anna, or maybe she knew all along and finally decided to unleash her power now. That must be why she lost her strain abilities, because Mikoto transferred his power to Anna somehow.
"Hey, Yuri? Don't doz off now." Kusanagi began, "Did you miss me?"
My face fell, and I slapped him before he could stop me.
"Sorry." I said after, he slowly turned his head back to me with wide eyes, raising a hand to his now red cheek, "That's for running off without a decent explanation."
"Right..." He smiled lightly, "Sorry."
I took a deep breath, turning back to Yata as he bolted away like a scared puppy dog from the face of the ninja he was just fighting, which happened to be a girl.

When the battle was finally over, and we managed to get out safe, the blues had all lined up at the entrance, raising their swords up high in welcome and respect for the new red King.
I quickly grabbed Yata's hand, feeling all eyes on me, and together we walked down the lane made for us. Anna didn't seem nervous at all, but I'm pretty sure Yata was getting hurt from how hard I was holding onto his hand.
"Jeez, woman, calm yourself." He mumbled to me as we stopped in front of the blue King.
I frowned, loosening my grip, "The sword suits you well, Yuri." I stiffened, looking up to Munakata, "But I'm afraid I'll need it back."
"Yes sir." I replied, handing him the sword.
I took a breath of relief, gasping as Yata dragged me over to the red clan that had arrived together with Rikio at the awakening of their new king.
"Took you guys long enough!" He yelled happily.
I hadn't seen him grin like that in all this time, the fire in his eyes was back and I couldn't be happier myself.
