"That was amazing." I breathed as Tatara finished his song.
"Are you- a-are you crying?!" Yata barked.
"No! Jeez calm down!" I hissed in reply.
"Hey, Yuri, do you have any special talents yourself?" Tatara asked, putting his guitar away.
I stiffened, scratching the side of my face, "Other than martial arts and my roller blades, not really."
"Wait, we didn't know you knew martial arts?" Rikio began.
I tilted my head, "I never told you guys?"
They all shook their heads and I sighed, thinking about how I would explain this.
"Well long story short my... guardian, Jesse, he taught me."
"Were you an orphan or something?" Eric suddenly asked.
"Idiot! Don't say things like that out of no where!"
"It's alright, guys, really." I assured, glancing at Mikoto who eyed me.
He knew, I told him everything, he would know if I was lying.
I frowned slightly, "I lived a lot of my life on the streets. My parents died in a plane crash caused by the Damocles crater incident all those years ago, and I was left with nothing. Jesse took me in and taught me how to defend myself." I explained.
I glanced at Yata, but he was already looking at me. I blushed lightly and kicked the ground sheepishly. I didn't want to really tell them, because I was afraid of how things might be different.
"Rei... is still adopted right? That wasn't a lie?"
"No." I shook my head, "Rei was left too. I picked him up."
"Jeez. We never would have guessed." Dewa sighed.
"It doesn't matter." Yata began, "Who cares where you grew up? You're still you and that's all that matters. We like having you around, Yuri, no matter what."
I smiled, quickly hugging the shorter male that froze him in place, "Thanks a ton! Yata-kun!"
