"If the slates are destroyed, will Homra stay?"
"Y-Yuri?!"
"That was random..."
"Sorry, it's just I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. Homra was created because of Mikoto, its centre was our aura. Without it, is everyone just going to leave again? Our purpose to fight is gone if the slates are destroyed, right? Or... am I over thinking this?"
"We're not going to be leaving again, Yuri." Chitose stood, taking my hand in his, "I promise you, that this time, king or no king, aura or no aura, Homra will continue to stand tall."
"Chitose is right. We're not just Homra the red clan. We're a family now." Izumo smiled, and even though I wanted to smile too, I couldn't bring it out.
I wonder if I had asked the same question before Mikoto died, if their answers would have been the same as they are right now.

"Wow," I mused, crossing my arms as I stood along with some of the other guys who had come out of the battle early, Misaki was seen struggling to hold up Fushimi who was bleeding through his leg, but got him to an ambulance without fail. It seems after all these years, that the colour they identified as and the king they served didn't matter anymore.
I was just barley scratched, sure the greens had a huge army - but the more their seemed to be the less powerful they were. Besides, I promised myself and Rei that I would be home and safe after all this was over.
When I came here, I wasn't too sure what to expect when everything would be said and done.
When the slates were destroyed, I wondered if maybe it would be sad, or if I would be over joyed, but it wasn't either of those things. It wasn't just the matter that all of this was really, finally over, that no horror would fall upon us like a raging storm again. It was so... humbling, to have gotten this far, and now I knew that even without an aura we were all still just as powerful, we were still the same Homra without it.
