I frowned, tapping my foot on the ground impatiently, thinking back to Rei and praying that he would stay the hell asleep so that I could do my part in this mission and then go back home and sleep so I could be awake and smiley for little Rei on Christmas morning.
Ever since Munakata gave us our home and an allowance, we were able to actually start celebrating Christmas, and to say it was Rei's favourite holiday was a huge understatement.
I had to sing songs for him constantly all day today - I didn't even get to see Yata till now!
"We reds'll take on Sukuna Gojo, and the silver clan will surround Yukari and bring him down." Izumo began, catching my attention, "This strategy would be impossible without Fushimi's complete grasp of this buildings secrutiy system and without his flawless operational set up."
"Mr. Kusanagi, even have to admit how good he is at stuff like this." Yata sighed, shutting his eyes as he thought of his old friend, that was now more of a "I hate you but I kind of still care about you" kind of deal.
"By the way, where is that guy? Shouldn't he be here by now?" Rikio asked.
The ground shook and a green light sliced through the doors that encased us in temporary protection. Now, the fight began.
Merry christmas, mother fuckers.

After a bunch of all those unpredictable technicalities that I could care less about, we moved on to 'phase 3' and made our way to meet up with the rest of the clans to where the Slates were being held.
"Remember, Anna will be the key player in this mission. There isn't very much we'll be able to do during a fight between kings - we'll only get in Anna's way. Soon Yashiro Isana, the silver king will join us here. Mr. Shiro will defend and Anna will attack - the rest of us are all there for diversion and support." Izumo exclaimed, having caught his breath.
"Right! Did you guys get all that?" Yata asked, and I smiled lightly at his way of acting as second in command all the time - it was kind of hot.
"Did you get it as well, Yata?" Izumo asked, smirking.
He rolled his eyes, "I'm not supposed to get carried away and run into battle, is that it?"
I chuckled, slipping my hand into his, he blushed as he turned to me with a questioning look.
"Lets make sure we're all home safe for christmas, yeah?"
"Of course." He smiled sweetly, kissing me on the forehead.
God, please let this night go by fast.
