Chapter Four

Food.

The best thing in the world. A blessing from the Moon Goddess herself. I reached for the bacon that was left on the counter. I was so close to taking a piece of bacon when a hand slapped mine away. I looked up at our head cook, Ann, and smiled innocently at her. She glared at me but a ghost smile appeared on her lips. I looked down at my hand that was still outstretched, and back up at Ann then back down to my hand. I quickly grabbed a piece of bacon and ran out the door. I laughed as I heard Ann scolding me from the kitchen. I stuffed the piece of bacon into my mouth and almost moaned at the taste of it. I walked into the living and sat on the sofa. I grabbed the clicker and began channel surfing for any interesting shows. I settle on my favorite show, Teen Wolf, and began watching it. Not even a minute later my bestfriend, Grace, walked in. She pulled a strand of my hair and walked around to stand in front of the tv.

" Stop drooling over Scott and Stiles and get your lazy ass up. We're going shopping, no ifs or buts about it." Grace said and pulled me up from the couch.

I've been best friends with Grace since Diapers. I don't know how we are best friends because we are total opposites. You see, I have bright red hair with dark blue eyes that almost look black. I engross myself in training and worrying about the pack. I am extremely competitive and will accept any challenge or dare thrown my way. I love playing video games with the boys in the game room and kicking their asses too. Grace is a blonde. Her hair almost looks like its bleached. She has pale hazel eyes and is in shape, but she hates working out. She loves going shopping and loves dragging me along to torture me too with it. She is one of those girls who step out of the way when a male comes and does it for her. She hates being competitive and cheers the boys along instead. 

I groaned as she pulled me up from my seat. 

"But I just got comfy."I whined.

"You can get comfy later, we are going shopping." She said pulled me through the halls. She grabbed a pair of keys and lead me out to the garage where there was a line of cars. She unlocked the car and the BMW on the far side unlocked. She pushed me into the car and started it up. She pulled out of the garage and sped to the road that lead to the mall. I knew there was no point in arguing with her as I already know the routine. She will take me to multiple stores until I start complaining that my feet will fall off if I walk another. It wasn't long until we pulled up into the big parking lot of the mall. We walked around the mall for a few hours until I started complaining about my feet. I got some new outfits for when Alpha Blake is here. You know, I got to at least look presentable. We drove home while having carpool karaoke. I actually sound pleasant but grave just sounded like a dying goat. The song to "Something Just Like This" by the Chainsmokers just came on and that is my song. But Luck wasn't on my side as we pulled up to the pack house. One of the pack members came by to grab my bags and take them to my brothers and I house. I was grateful for them. I shifted into my wolf and quickly made my way to the house and up to my room. I changed into more comfy clothes and collapsed onto my bed. I faintly heard my door opening and someone dropped off my bags before I feel into a deep, much needed sleep.
