Day 4:

Melanie's POV

I stood in front of the couch tapping my foot as I watched Blake slowly wake up. I was careful to not touch or look at my neck when I woke up. I currently have my hair over my shoulders, covering it from Blake. A minute later, Blake bolted up and his face became white. I glared at him and let my anger seep through our connection. While Blake was asleep, I learned how to put up my wall. And since I felt a quick bolt of fear, I knew Blake hadn't learned to do the same.

"So are you going to explain why you did this," I pointed at my neck, " to me?" I asked sweetly.

Blake visibly swallowed before his eyes darted to my neck then to my face. He held my gaze for a few seconds before he looked at my neck and looked down.

"It wasn't entirely my fault Mel-" Blake started.

"Your fault! This entire thing is YOUR fault!" I yelled at him, "I didn't want this to happen!" I let a growl slip and his head snapped up and he glared at me.

"Well it happened! It turns out your going to be stuck with me forever." He snapped at me, " It wasn't my choice. I had no control over my wolf! You have no idea how hard it is to control him when I am around you!"

I stood speechless as Blake and I stared at each other. I shook my head and looked down. Without thinking I pushed my hair back and turned around. His hand shot out and grabbed my wrist and turned me to look at him. His gaze was staring at my neck. I quickly realized what I did and tried to cover it up with my hair. Blake pushed my hair back to look at my mark again. His hand gently grazed my mark and a bolt of shock and pleasure shot through my body.

A wave of happiness went through me and I knew it wasn't mine. That's when I realized my mistake. I forgot to put my walls back up. So that means he felt exactly what I felt. I quickly put my walls up and turned around towards the door. Blake shook his head like her was coming out of a trace.

"Mel-" Blake started to say before I interrupted him. Again.

"I'm leaving." I said and closed the door behind me. I shifted into my wolf and headed into a direction. I don't know where I'm going, I just need to leave. I ran faster as I heard Blake's paws hit the ground behind me. I quickly turned right and headed for a clearing I saw in the distance. I broke through the trees and made my way before I stopped. I brought myself to a cliff where there was no where to go. I was distracted by my thoughts that I didn't hear Blake coming. I turned around and was tackled to the ground. Blake and I tumbled before we stopped. I laid on my back as Blake stood above me. We stared at each other before he got off of me. As I stood up, Blake put his head in the crook of my neck. He stood there breathing in my scent as I felt a calmness flow through me from him. I moved away from him and he growled at me. I walked over to the cliff and laid down on the ground, admiring the view. Blake followed me and stood next to me. He stood there for a second before he laid down next to my and put his on my neck. We laid there for a while. I don't know how long but long enough for the sun to go down. Blake stood up and stretched his legs. I stood up and did the same. He pushed me in a direction towards the trees, which I'm guessing leads back to the house. He ran into the trees and I decided it would be best to follow him. It only took a few minutes before we got to the house. Blake shifted back and opened the door for me. I shifted back and walked into the house.

"I'm going to bed." I said and began to walk towards the stairs.

"Melanie, wait." Blake said. I stopped and turned around to look at him. He is my mate, I might as will listen him out for what he has to say.

"Can I come with you?" He asked me. I stood there and searched his eyes for any reason for him not to come with me. I wanted to still be mad at him for marking at me but I just couldn't be mad at him. I nodded my head and started to walk back to the steps. Happiness washed through me before Blake walked behind me. We were about to go into our room before Blake pulled me back. I was about to protest but he stood behind me in a mirror. I looked at him through the mirror weirdly before he took his hand and moved my hair off of my shoulders. My gaze immediately went to my neck where my mark was. I gasped a little bit as I stared at my mark. It was a crescent moon with two different paw prints inside of it. It was beautiful. I looked behind me to see Blake smiling, and I couldn't help but give him a small smile. I shook my head and walked into our bedroom. I changed quickly into a crop top and a pair of leggings. I watched as Blake took his shirt off.

Damn. He is hot.

He turned around and caught me looking. My face grew hot. I looked away quickly and crawled into bed. I shut the light off and the bed dipped behind me. I turned around and Blake pulled me into his embrace. His arm snaked around my waist and he held me against his body.

"Goodnight Blake." I whispered and closed my eyes.

"Goodnight Melanie." He whispered back to me. I grew tired by the second as I felt content and happiness flow through my body from Blake. I fell asleep before I felt one emotion I was slightly scared of. One emotion I didn't think Blake was capable of doing. It was the tiniest hint of it, but it was still there.

Love.

Please let me know how you like the chapter. Should I start updating more chapters but they will be shorter. Or should I update longer chapters like this one about once or twice a week. Please let me know your thoughts!
