Chapter Nine

"Hello my little mate."

Sparks ignited wherever he touched my face. He started to stroke my cheek.

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"Open your eyes and I'll tell you." He said. I reluctantly opened up my eyes to be meet with his dark blue ones. His eyes were like staring into the deep blue of the ocean. His eyes darted between my eyes as I did his. His eyes revealed nothing as I searched his eyes for any sort of emotion to tell me what he's thinking. I know he was doing the same with me. He dropped his hand from my cheek and turned back toward the water.

"I'm leaving tomorrow. You are to come with me along with five of your warriors for mine coming here. I already talked to your father and he agreed to it. The warriors will be staying in the pack house and you will be staying in my house." He said before standing up and turning around. I stood up too and grabbed his wrist.

"You can't do that! Maybe I don't want to go with you." I snapped at him. He turned around and looked straight into my eyes. His jaw was clenched as he stared right at me. 

"You are my mate. You are mine, forever mine. I'm taking you back to my pack tomorrow and you will listen because if you don't, you will make me do something we will both regret." He said. I don't know what made me nod my head and walked back to the house with him. Maybe it was what Echo said about giving him a chance. But what would we both regret if I fight with him tomorrow. 

"I will mark you if that's what your thinking so hard about."He said and walked into the house. I stood in front of the door with my eyes huge. I have to listen to him tomorrow. I can't let him mark me when I'm not ready. I quickly shook my head and made my way to the kitchen. Alpha Blake said good-bye to my father and left the house without even looking at me.

"I'm guessing he told you about the arrangement." My dad spoke to me.

I nodded my head and grabbed the icecream from the freezer. I took a spoon from the drawer and headed up to my room. I grabbed my phone and started to text Grace.

Me -- Come over???

Grace <333 -- Sure but wht happened @ dinner?

Me -- Tell u when u get here

Grace <333 -- k. 

I turned off my phone and layed down on my bed. I turned on the DVD player and hit play. Beauty and the Beast (2017) started playing. I almost fell asleep when my bedroom door burst open. There Grace was in her Pjs. She closed the door and layed down next to me and grabbed the remote. She turned the TV up more until no one could hear what we were talking about.

"Spill." She said and stared right at me. I looked down and started to play with my fingers. Should I tell her that Blake is my mate? Or just about me leaving tomorrow? I was snapped out of my thoughts when Grace snapped her fingers at me. She motioned her hand for me to start and I took a deep breath. Well here goes nothing. After an hour of joking around about what happened at dinner I grew quiet as I was about to tell her about me leaving. She seemed to notice and her eyebrows scrunched together.

"I have to leave tomorrow to go with Alpha Blake, and I don't know when I'm coming back or if I'm ever coming back." I tell her. She grew quiet and I started to get nervous. It was always bad when she gets quiet. There are usually two reasons why she's quiet. She is upset at someone or she is secretly planning someones murder. She stood up quickly and turned toward the door.

"I am going to kill him." She said before she could take one step, my hand shoot out and grabbed her wrist.

"Please don't" I muttered quietly.

"What it's not like he is you mate or something." She snapped at me. I looked down and my face started to heat up. 

"He is isn't he?" She asked and sat down next to me. I nodded my head as a tear slipped past my eyelash. It's not like I didn't want a mate, but I didn't want one now. I especially didn't want him as my mate. What punishment did I deserve to have him as my mate. The thing I like about Grace was she didn't need to say anything to make me feel better. She knew exactly what to do to make me come down or happy again. Grace rubbed my back and put my favorite disney movie in, Brave. She put my head in her lap and smoothed my hair down behind my ear. Within moments, I was passed out. Even in my sleep all I could think about was leaving tomorrow. 

I don't want to leave my home.
