I'm falling for him.

Day 2:

I woke up to a cold bed in the morning. I sighed through my nose and got in the shower, making sure I had my shampoo and conditioner. I got changed into a pair of yoga pants and a crop top. I headed downstairs to the living room when I caught Blake's scent. I debated following his scent or not. And knowing me.... I chose to follow it. It led to the last door of the hallway. I opened up the door and it led into darkness. I shrugged my shoulders and descending the stairs. The stairs came to a stop and I was overwhelmed by the smell of sweat. I looked around the room and saw it was a gym. Blake was in the far corner of the room doing push-ups. I slowly walked over to him. He was to concentrated to notice I was there. I used that time to study him. The muscles in his back flexed every time he moved. I noticed a small tattoo on the power part of his back. It was the moon phases. I scrunched my eyebrows as I looked at the tattoo.

"Blake?" I asked quietly. He looked shocked that I stood behind him. He quickly changed his face before standing up. He walked over the the wall and grabbed a bottle of water. Blake turned around and raised his eyebrows at me as he took a drink of the water.

"What does the tattoo on your back mean?" I asked him. He stiffened before he slowly sat the bottle down. He sighed before he looked at me.

"My mother loved to study the phases of the moon. She taught me them when I was younger, before she died." He said.

"What happened to her?" I asked him. He looked like he didn't want to answer. As he began to walk upstairs. I followed him until we reached the living room.

"Please tell me everything that happened." I said. He looked at me for a minute before he nodded.

"My mother was really sick when I was 10. Only a few people knew about her being sick. The pack doctors tried everything to make her get better but she just got worst. It got to the point where she died when I was holding her hand. Everything fell apart after that." He said. He looked down at his hands as a tear escaped his eye. It was my instinct to go and make sure my mate wasn't hurt. It hurt me to see him cry. I couldn't stop myself as my hand reached out and wiped the tear away. He look surprised before he leaned into my touch.

"My father went mad after my mother died. His wolf disappeared when his mate died. My father got angry and got drunk in the middle of the night. He would want to take his anger out on Esme but I would make him take it out on me instead of her. The pain from loosing his mate drive him to death when I was 15. I was made Alpha a month later." He said.

I looked at him before I looked away. I felt bad that he had to go through all the pain. He sat in the couch and I sat next to him. He silently cried as he held his head in between his hands. I started to run my fingers through his hair as an attempt to call him down. He lifted his head and looked at me before he picked me up and sat me on his lap. He dug his head in the crook of my neck. Blake started to breath in my scent and soon his breath evened out.

For the rest of the day, we laid on the couch. We talked about everything and anything but nothing at the same time. I learned a little more about his family and his childhood. He learned about my family and my childhood along with me and Grace. I was tired by the time the sun set. I fell asleep with Blake twirling a price of my hair around his fingers.
