The Alphas Hybrid

Chapter Five

The two days flew by fast and Alpha Blake was arriving soon. The pack was hectic. Everyone was running around getting ready and to make the pack look presentable. Its kinda dumb that the pack is trying hard to look presentable, but at the same time I get it. It is important when another Alpha come to visit a pack, the pack doesn't want to look poor and weak. I was currently in my dad's office waiting for him to tell me what he wants me to do. I stood quietly with my patience wearing thin. My dad looked up at me and started studying me. I need to take a run or something, my wolf is acting very anxious like something big is going to happen.

"We Alpha Blake arrives I want you watching the borders, preferably from the air. I know it's mandatory for you to stand by my side to greet him but you can be introduced him tonight at dinner. I want you to look nice." My dad said watching my intently.

I nodded my head stiffly. When my dad says I need to look nice, he means I need to wear a dress. Well at least I got a new dress from shopping with Grace. My dad continued talking.

"He is about to pass the borders in about ten minutes. He will be taking 3 black cars so watch out for them. I need you to be there now. you are dismissed."

A grin made its way onto my face at the thought of flying. Sure, being a wolf is amazing, but flying is on a whole different scale. It is the best feeling in the world. I quickly made my way to the back of the pack house, making sure to grab an apple on the way out. I quickly munched down the apple and threw it into the woods before I made my way deep into the woods. I stood silently listening to any sound from any pack members. I smiled when I didn't hear anyone and shifted into my hawk. Being in my hawk feels like I am on top of the world. I flew fast and hard as I got nearer to the northern border. It took me a few minutes until I reached the border. I flew outside of the border and glided on the wind currents, looking for any black cars. In the distance, I saw three black cars in the distance, rounding a corner. I let out a loud screech, letting my dad know they are almost there if he can hear me. Since I'm in my hawk form, my mind-link and scent is shielded from anyone around me. So it prevents them from scenting I'm a hybrid werewolf, and that I am in a pack. The downside to it, is I can smell other people but I can't mind-link them.

I perched on a high branch waiting for them to get closer. The wind blew into my face and the most amazing smell filled my senses. I swear I almost fell of my branch. It smelled like pine trees and snow.

"MATE!" Echo yelled in my head.

Mate? Mate! No no no no this can't be happening. I can't have a mate! What if he rejects me, most importantly who is he and will he use me because I'm a hybrid? I shook my feathers out and puffed out my chest as the cars came near. I spread my wings and my shadow landed in front of me showing off my huge hawk. I was all white with some grey and blake feathers in my tail and throughout my wings. I flapped my wings and I took off in the air when they were in front of me. I glided above the cars as they drove into the pack lands. The scent was intoxicating that I kept losing focus. It was a matter of minutes that the cars pulled up in front of the pack house. My family was waiting outside as the cars pulled up. My dad must have seen me above the cars because he held up his arm for my to perch on . I dove down and perched on his arm while they waited for Alpha Blake and his men to exit their cars. Men piled out of the cars and some of out members drove the cars away. Alpha Blake stepped out of the last car followed by his Beta. He sniffed the air for a second before he put on a pair of shades.

He was wearing a tux with a pair of shade on. His blonde hair was long on the top and short all along the sides. The tux fit him perfectly. It wrapped around his muscles like a second skin. I sniffed the air a tiny bit before my eyes grew huge. I stared at Alpha Blake as he seemed to stare at me with a slight curiosity.

Alpha Blake is my mate.
