Chapter Fourteen

I hate the way he affects me.

Esme pulled into the large parking lot and turned off the engine. We stepped out of the car and started to walk towards the building.

"OK, so the plan is we are gonna hit up a few stores like American Eagle, and Forever 21 to get a few outfits then I have a surprise waiting at the end." She said as we enter the building.

"Surprise?" I ask and she nodded.

"Can't you tell me what it is. I don't like surprises." I whined.

"I guess your just going to wait to find out." She smiled and pulled me into the first store.

It was already a few hours and we have been to a few stores. My arms ached as we carried the bags to the last store. I started to back up but Esme stopped me.

"Your not backing out of this one Melanie. I will drag you in here if you don't come in willingly." She pointes to the store behind her.

"But Esme," I whined, "it's Victoria's Secret. Do not know what kind of clothes are in there."

Before I could protest anymore, she literally dragged me into the store. An employee can and grabbed our bags from our hands and left. From the smell of her, she was from Blake's pack. Esme grabbed my arm and pulled me further into the store where there was lacy bras and lingerie. She asked my size and I quickly told her. She nodded and pushed me into a changing room. Seconds later she walked in with different bras and lingerie.

"Put these on and show me when your done." She said and walked out.

I went through all of the clothes and only liked a few that i wanted to get. I currently stood in front of the mirror looking at the lingerie I was wearing.

"You can come in." I yelled at Esme. Esme walked in and her mouth hung open as she saw me.

"Blake won't be able to control himself when he sees you in this." She muttered. I chose to ignore her and looked at myself again. It was all red with a lining of lace along the top of the bra. A piece of lace wrapped around my body and clipped in the back. The lace came down to the top of my thigh and covered the red underwear. I looked at Esme through the mirror and she smiled at me.

"Get changed, we are getting that and the rest in that pile. After this is your surprise." She said and walked out.

At the mention of the surprise, I quickly changed and we left within 5 minutes. Esme has one of the employees put the bags in her car. As we neared the place, she covered my eyes until we got there. We came to a stop and she uncovered my eyes and turned me around. I looked at the sign and it said "Laser Tag". She pulled me in and we saw Blake, Xavier and Arrow waiting for us. I've been to this mall before to Laser Tag because it had a better arena then at my packs local mall. We signed in  and suited up. We were waiting for the game to stop when I notice a familiar face. A smile formed on my face as I saw my brother Jake and his friends. He was talking to them with his back to me. Since I was still connected to my packs mind-link so I screamed Jakes name through it. He jumped and I started to laugh and I fell on my butt. Blake, Xavier, Arrow and Esme looked at me weird. I laughed harder until I felt someone lift me up. I looked up and Jake picked me up before hanging me upside down. I stopped laughing and I glared at his friends, Paul and Joseph for not doing anything. They quickly looked away from me with a smile on their face.

"Well hello to you too boys." I said to them.

"Melanie? Who are they?" Esme asked. I glared at Jake who dropped me on my head and stood back.

"That jackass is Jake, my brother, and that's Paul, Thing 1, and that's Joseph, Thing 2." I said and pointed to each one. They all nodded at each other and I rolled my eyes.

"Wanna join?" I asked the boys. Paul smiled at me.

"Only if I can be on your team. I don't want my ass beat again." Paul said. Jake and Joseph nodded. I turned around to look at Blake who nodded at me. A smiled formed on my face as soon as we entered the arena with Jake, Paul and Joseph. I was with Paul, Esme and Joseph while the other team was Xavier, Arrow,Jake and Blake.

The game was almost over and my team only needed one point to win. I made my way toward the other teams base when I smelled Blake. I turned around he stood right behind me. My eyes grew big before a smile grew on my face. He looked at me confused as I looked at him. I brought my hand up to his face and traced the side of it before I started to trace his lips. His lips parted slowly and he closed his eyes. I smiled more as I brought up my gun and looked the time left. 00:00:03. I quickly pulled the trigger that was aimed at him before the buzzer went off. His eyes shot open and he growled the me. I ran to the exit where everyone was waiting. I hid behind Esme as Blake emerged. He glared at me before we looked who won. I had the most points and Blake was second. Blake's team lost and mine won. I started to tease Jake that I beat him when Esme made me say good-bye. We quickly went home with Blake,Xavier and Arrow in the car behind us. Blake dropped Xavier and Arrow off at the pack house while Esme dropped me off at the house with Blake right behind us. I unlocked the house and quickly ran up to my room before Blake could catch me. I was too slow as Blake grabbed me by the waist and
pulled me into the living room. He pinned me to the wall and a playful grin was on his face.

"I think I should take my end of the deal." He said before his lips captured mine. Sparks flew all across my body as I started to kiss him back. It took a few seconds before heat flared up in my body. I started to pull Blake's hair and he gripped my waist. A small gasp left my mouth and he took the opportunity to slip his tongue into my mouth. I don't know how long we were kissing each other but as we pulled a way for air, I was laying on the couch with Blake above me. His member was pressing against my thigh and my breath hitched. He leaned his forehead against mine and my eyes fluttered shut. We stayed like that for a few seconds before the weight was lifted off of me. I opened up my eyes and Blake was no where to be seen. I sat up and shook my head. I made my way up to my room and took a cold shower. I was in a trace when I got out. I got dressed in a pair of pjs and stood in front of the mirror. I traced my lips with a finger. There was still sparks since we kissed. I shook my head and climbed into my bed. I turned the lamp off and stared up at the empty ceiling. Soon I was lost in my thoughts.

Blake kissed me. And I would be lying to say I didn't enjoy it. Did Blake enjoy it too or was it just the mate bond pulling us together? But it was just one kiss. Nothing special, he probably kissed many other girls before me. It didn't mean anything, right?

Right?

Happy Memorial Day! I decided to make this chapter extra long and to have Blake and Melanie finally kiss!
