lillian ♡
we were sitting in the car, still in the california area and jack was the one driving, i was just sitting in the passenger seat looking outside of the window as we drove.
"are you hungry, lil?" jack asked me.
lil.
he hasn't called me that name in so long.
i smiled just a little at the nickname. "yeah, i could use something to eat"
"okay, what about waffle house?" he asked turning onto another street.
"sounds great" i said.
he pulled into the parking lot and we both got out and walked inside and sat down at a table.
"so, are you staying back in omaha now?" jack asked.
"uh, yeah. i think it's better for me" i said.
"okay, i want what evers best for you" jack said.
"thanks" i said, and looked out the window of the place because we sat in the booth that was right next to the window.
we ordered our food and drinks.
"do you.. want me to say something?" jack asked.
"about what?" i asked him now looking at him.
"on twitter about everything since sammy doesn't want to tell everyone the truth and you're not in a place to tell everyone either and i just want to help you however i can" he said.
he is so sweet and i couldn't be more thankful for him right now. i really misses him the past two years and i didn't realize how much i missed having him around until he saved my life.
"thank you but i feel like they all would want it from me" i sighed.
"yeah okay. whatever you want" he said.
"thank you for everything but don't you like have studio sessions with johnson and stuff you're suppose to be going to?" i asked him.
"we can reschedule, you're more important okay? i want to make sure you're okay" he said.
"okay" i replied.
and twenty two and a half hours later, we were in the driveway of my dad's house.
i wasn't staying here, but bryan and lydia have been staying at my house, it's my house and they don't live there, just staying until they find a place of their own.
"ready?" jack asked me from the passenger seat.
"yeah, i'm ready" i spoke.
we both got out the car and walked inside, i saw my dad was holding a rag and wiping the counters.
"lillian! what a surprise!" he smiled seeing me.
he dropped the rag on the counter beside the sink and walked over bringing me into a hug.
"hi dad" i said into the hug. i missed him.
we pulled away a few seconds later.
"hey jack, it's nice to see you again as well" my dad smiled at him slightly.
"you too, mr. jacobs" jack said.
"where's, sammy?" my dad then asked.
"we broke up, that's why i wanted to come back home and move back" i said.
"what? what happened?" he asked.
"um well we just thought it was best for us" i shrugged but my dad knew me better and knew that was a lie.
"did he lie? cheat? what did he do, lily?" my dad asked.
"cheated" i sighed.
he pulled me into another hug. "he doesn't deserve you, okay. you'll be okay without him" my dad said.
"thank you" i said pulling away again.
"am i doing alright at a moms job?" he asked with a small chuckle.
i smiled slightly, "you're amazing" i said.
"so are you staying here or.." he trailed off.
"if you want me to, i'll stay with you but i was going to see if brian would be okay with me staying at my own house. i'm moving back so" i said.
"i'm okay with it. i love you, be safe" he said.
"i love you too" i said and kissed his cheek then me and jack walked back to my car.
"he doesn't seem to fond of me" jack sighed.
"i think he just, he felt like you hurt me" i said.
"did i? hurt you, i mean." he said.
i didn't say anything because i couldn't let him feel bad for leaving because he went to follow his dream and i couldn't be prouder of him.
"you were following your dream, i'm proud of you" i said to him.
