i watched dillon as he was struggling to say what he wanted.

just in this moment, looking at my bestfriend, i couldn't help but feel all sorts of emotions.

i leaned in closer to him, he was looking from my eyes to my lips.

i just kissed him.

my lips on his, it felt like it was just us, in the world. only us two.

he deepened the kiss a little more, grabbing my face.

a few seconds later, we pulled away.

"yeah, that." he spoke.

i smiled slightly. "i wanted to do that when we were twelve" i admitted.

he smiled.

he sat up, so did i, "so, does this mean that i can kiss you more often?" he asked.

did it? did i want it to? what about jack?

but in this moment, i forgot all about jack.

i could only think about how i wanted to kiss dillon forever.

"yes" i smiled and kissed him again because he was just so great.

"happy, happy, happy birthday to youuu" someone sang waking me up.

my eyes opened, i saw dillon standing over me.

and i saw jack and sammy, and other jack and nate.

"oh" i said rubbing my face.

i got out the bed.

"happy birthday." jack g smiled and brought me into a hug.

"thank you" i smiled into him.

"jack?!" screeching loud mouth yelled.

he pulled away quickly.

"one sec" jack said and left the room.

"happy birthday little one" sammy smiled.

"thanks guys" i smiled, i hugged dillon.

"happy birthday babygirl" he whispered to just me.

this wasn't a surprise, he likes to call me that and i like it too.

"thank you" i smiled into his chest.

"um okay" nate said and we pulled away.

"what?" i said.

"you and dillon" johnson said.

"what about us?" i asked.

"are you guys like.. i don't know together?" sammy asked.

"um no, just friends" dillon said.
