"i got you something" jack smiled walking into my room where i was doing my makeup.

i spun around in my chair.

"what? why?" i asked chuckling.

"because you're beautiful and you deserve the world." he smiled.

i smiled too, "oh stop saying stuff like that"

"open it" he said.

i took the gift bag and opened it, it was some forks, knives, and spoons.

i looked at him.

what?

"um thanks" i said.

"in ten you'll see why i got it for you but trust me, it's romantic." he smiled.

i bit my lip as i smiled up at him.

"okay.. i hope" i chuckled

"i hope you'll be happy" he smiled and kissed me.

"i'm always happy with you"

"let's go to the mall" he said

"okay" i smiled and finished up my makeup and we went to the mall.

once we got there, we walked inside and witnessed someone propose.

it was the cutest thing ever! oh my gosh!!

it made me think about jack.. and if we'd ever get to that point.

it's obviously too soon, we were only together a few months before he left and we've only been together a few months now.

but i do want to get to that point with him.

someday.

my phone vibrated from my pocket. i pulled it out.

it was a text.. from sammy. what the hell does he want now?

sammy: i'm in omaha, can we meet at that one place.. and talk please? i'll be there at 5..

i put my phone away. what did he want to talk about?

"what was that?" he asked me.

"just a wrong number" i sighed.

he nodded and grabbed a hold of my hand and we kept walking through the mall looking at different things all around.

"hey babe? how do i look?" jack asked me from behind, i turned around and he was wearing a child's batman cape with the glasses and everything.

i laughed at him. "you look great" i said sarcastically

he laughed along with me. it was halarious.

"i want some food." he said taking the stuff off.

"are you hungry?" i asked like he was a kid.

"yes, lily. please can we get some food? i'm going to die" he groaned.

"oh, you will not die, jack." i rolled my eyes.

i was smiling at him and looking behind, i saw sammy out the window of the store and he was looking at me

i looked away.

"let's go get some food, i'm hungry too" i said and he kissed me. "thank you lily!" he cheered and grabbed my hand and we walked out the store together.

we went to the court and i saw nate and zoey sitting at a table.

"zoey!!" i exclaimed and ran over giving her a hug.

"oh my god, i was gonna come and surprise you later" she smiled hugging me.

"well i'm here now" i smiled.

"hey, lily" nate smiled hugging me.

"i miss you guys!" i said.

"i'm glad you've got your man back" nate commented only making me roll his eyes.

"it's been a few months since that happened" i said.

"yeah.. i know" he smiled. "i'm late"

"a lot late man" jack said and shook his hand or whatever guys do.

"you guys with sammy?" i asked.

"yeah" zoey said softly.

"stop acting like that, i don't care.. its okay, really. it's been a few months, and i'm okay" i said.

"yeah.. are you sure?" nate asked me.

"i'm sure" i assured him.

"alright."

"we should go" jack said.

"yeah, we have plans" i told them.

"have fun you two" zoey exclaimed.

"we will" i smiled and we walked away together.

once we got in the car, i had to say something.

"i want to fix things" i said.

"what are you talking about?"

"with sammy, i mean.. we were bestfriends for years and i don't want to throw that all away.. can i just go back to being friends? fix all this mess?" i asked.

"of course you can.. if that's what you really want." he said.

"he texted me, he wanted to talk so maybe i can meet him and fix our friendship" i said.

"yeah, you can.." he seemed off. "just.. just be careful okay?"

"i always am"

"jack, i'm not gonna get hit by a bus" i then said.. only joking though.

but it made him smile so it was worth it.

"oh god, no" he chuckled.

"haha, well let's go, i'm tired" i yawned.

"okay, baby"
