"Is it always this quiet?".Melanie asked the maid who was making my bed.Her name is Maria and out of all the maids that work here,she is the only friendly one.
The week in which Melanie and Lucas was supposed to be spending time together passed away without serving its purpose.
He went to work this morning without saying goodbye.She didn't mind it anyway since she was still mad at him.Melanie was glad he didn't came to see her or else it would have been awakward.
"It used to be lively when Lady Roseanne's famliy lived here".Maria replied.
"Family? She has children?".Melanie asked suprised.
"Child".She corrected her."She has a four year old son named Kevin".
"She had a son and no one bothered telling me".She guessed no one considers her as a family member yet.She doesn't blame them though.Her,a normal girl living among rich and sophisticated people is strange.
"Why did they go?".Melanie asked.
"Lady Roseanne's Mother in-law called her son back so she had to go as well.There were many argue but at the end Lady roseanne agreed".Maria shrugged.
Melanie nodded.
"Well I don't blame her mother in-law".Maria continued."After that incident no one would want their Son or Grandson here".
Melanie frowned."An incident?".
"What incident?".Melanie asked."It must be something big since it caused that much drama".
Maria's expression became that of shock like she wasn't suppose to tell her that."I..it happened long ago.Don't worry about it".She hurriedly picked up the dirty sheets.
Melanie limping,followed her out."Wait!".She called out which made Maria halt her steps."Y..yes?".
"Tell me about this incident".Melanie pressed.Maria opened her mouth but closed it and her face paled as she looked over Melanie's shoulder.
"I..I have to go".Maria scurried away leaving Melanie with a confused.She turned around to go to her room when she saw Mrs.Williams standing in the middle of the stairs,staring at her.
Her stare caused Melanie to shiver but she managed to pass a smile.After some seconds Mrs.Williams returned the smile before turning around and heading upstairs.
"That was weird".Melanie mumbled and headed inside as well.

After getting bored by being stuck in her room she decided to explore the garden.She creaked open her door and saw no one in sight.She walked towards the door which led to the garden and opened it but found it locked.
"I came all the way here for no reason".She sighed and decided to head back."A wheelchair would be better".
She had requested Mrs.William for a wheelchair.She told her that she would ask someone to go and buy it.It had been three days but no sign of a wheelchair.
Melanie didn't wanted to appear annoying so she didn't ask twice.She also didn't wanted to doubt or anything but it felt like they weren't bringing it on purpose.
"They are nice people Melanie.Don't you dare doubt them".She shook away her thoughts.
"But what was that incident?".
