Melanie groaned as the blinding sunlight fell upon her face.She raised her hand over her eyes and turned around,burrying her face in the pillow."Ms.Melanie get up.Lady Williams is asking for your presence downstairs in ten minutes".
"This early?".Melanie whined."It appears that she is taking you to meet someone".Said Maria
Melanie remembered Mrs.Williams talking with someone on phone last night and told that she will come visit tomorrow.But she didn't expect she will have to go as well.
"Fine".Melanie mumbled as she got up,grabbed her crutches and placed each under her arm."Good".Maria began making her bed.Melanie entered the bathroom and closed the door.
"Wear something elegant".Was what Maria said before the door had shut.

"You look marvelous!".Melanie whipped her head up at the voice and smiled."It's nice to see you Roseanne".She was pulled in an embrace."I missed you".Roseanne pouted.
"Me too".Melanie agreed.
"Everyone ready?".Came Mrs.Willliams' voice as she joined the two ladies."Yes Mum!".Chimed Roseanne.
"Great.Now we should get going or Elizabeth is going to complain about how late we are".Mrs.Williams shook her head and hurried out the door,followed by the other two.
"Elizabeth?".Melanie asked,confused."Oh my! I am so sorry for not informing you dear".said Mrs.Williams as they sat in the car."My friend has been has been wanting to meet you..She is more like a sister.I got a call last night and I forgot to mention it to you".She sent Melanie a apologizing look.
"It is alright".Melanie assured.
"She had been expecting to meet Lucas' future bride since she returned to L.A but couldn't find the time to do so".Explained Mrs.Williams.
Melanie suddenly felt nervous all of a sudden."What if she is expecting too much? And I don't meet her expectation?".She began fidgeting with her fingers.
A hand landed in hers,stopping her."Don't worry Melanie.I am pretty sure she will like you".Roseanned gave her a warm smile."Thank you".
Melanie had always wished for a person she could share her thoughts and worries.A person like Roseanne.She was bright,caring and understanding as well.
Her thoughts were cut off when the car came to a halt."We are here".The driver announced.Melanie looked outside confused."That was fast".She blurted causing Roseanne to chuckle."That's right.Aunt Elizabeth only lives a few blocks away from us".
Melanie nodded,a little embarassed.She noticed that Mrs.Williams had already gotten out of the car and was waiting for her to join her."Right".Melanie stepped out as well.
The house was no bigger than the Williams' residence except that it was painted dark blue and the garden was in the front yard.
As they entered the house,the butler guided them inside.There were about to take a seat when a loud voice geeeted them.
"Abigail.I am so glad you could make it!".They all looked towards the lady descending down the stairs,holding her dress up.
The two ladies exchanged hugs and side-cheek kisses."Oh my dear Roseanne".She then engulfed her in a hug."And this lovely lady must be Melanie".Elizabeth smiled at her.
"It is a pleasure to meet you".Melanie greeted her."The pleasure is all mine dear.Now let us take a seat.My daughter shall be joining us in a minute".Elizabeth announced.
"Lucas also said he is on his wa-".Mrs.Williams words got cut off by the heavy footsteps,revealing none othet than Lucas.
