with all the money that i spend
it's getting harder to pretend
that
i'm not offended
everything just costs too much
and i've had enough
so i
won't waste any more cash
but the thing is that with you
i don't mind spending all i own
because as long as i get to hold your hand
it feels like i'm paying to go back home
food is too expensive to buy
why should i
eat
can't i just die
the transport leads us to each other
this girl that i saw earlier
i was sure
i'd never see her again but here we are
but all in all why do we have to pay
we just made life harder this way
some people
can't afford and have to call out in so much pain
but then again i don't really care
as long as i can find myself in your arms
i could invest in whatever you say
guarenteed you're staying calm
you're the one exception to the theory
the one who makes me question ever word i say
a penny for you thoughts, maybe a million
because i want to hear what's in your brain
