you're leaving me sleepless
it's hard enough to sleep as it is
taking control of my weakness
you make me forget about everything
conversations with my mind about you
how does it make you feel
are you proud of what you do
i know i'd be if it were me
you tell me all of these things
then leave me all alone
drowning in my drink
waiting by my phone
i hope you're proud of your skills
then again i do the same
is this how i make you feel
wow we're both insane
i think about you every day
it's hard to deny
after all you're my best friend
with extra pretty eyes
though these seem like just words to some
i know the true meaning
out of us, nobody won
doesn't look like anyone's winning
some times i want to kiss you goodbye
but that would perplex it all
for you would take it as goodnight
when i just want to fall
because we're in different situations
i think i'm in love
and you know about these complications
so why won't you met me go
