Leilani's POVIt's the first day, and I don't know how I feel bout this. I don't know anyone and no one knows me. Let's do How this goes, shall we?
(At school)
"Have a good day honey!" My mom tells me kissing my cheek.
"I'll try" I say to her. I get out of the car and walk into the school.
Westlake Middle. One of the most popular middle schools in ATL.
I had already gotten my schedule, so all I need to do now is to find my homeroom. As I'm walking down the halls, girls pass me screaming as they run to their friends.
I smile at their excitement. Maybe I'll meet some girls that I can make friends with.
As I was walking down the hall I bumped into somebody.
"Oh I'm sorry." I say to the person.
The person turns around and it's a boy. He was chocolate, and had curly brown hair with blonde tips. His melanin was poppin."Nah you good ma." He says smiling and then walking away.
He has a pretty face.
I finally found my homeroom and I walked in. I saw a girl sitting by herself and I decided to sit by her.
"Hi, I'm Leilani." I say to the girl. She glares at me and then get up and walks away.
Well, I tried.
"Hey" I hear someone say. I look up to see the boy that had bumped into me.
"Hi" I say nicely.
"Can I sit here, or is this seat taken?" He asks me referring to the now empty seat.
"No, you can sit there." I tell him smiling.
"Thanks, I'm Kobe." He says holding out his hand. Not in the topical handshake way. But like the boy handshake way.
"Leilani." I say to him.
I do the handshake with no problem."Have you done that before?" He asks me.
"I have three brothers. So yah" I say laughing a little.
"Oh cool." He says. Then the teacher walks in.
"Hello everyone, my name is Ms. White, and I'm your homeroom teacher." Ms. White tells us.
Then the bell rings.
"Ok guys, so go to your second period." She tells us.
I get up and so does Kobe.
"Maybe I'll see you around?" Kobe asks me.
"Yeah, Maybe." I say to him.
He smiles and then we head our separate ways.
