Confusing

Leilani's POV

I walked out of the bathroom and walked into my room. I had just changed from all of the pool stuff.

Jake was grabbing all of his things.

"Leaving?" I ask him. He looks up and smiles.

"Yeah, I better get home." He says walking towards me.

"Okay. Well it was fun while you were here." I tell him. He nods.

"See you later Leilani." He says as he hugs me. I hug him back and lay my head on his shoulder.

"Thank you." I say to him.
He chuckled.

"For what?" He asks. I let him go.

"For being there for me today. I mean, I didn't have friends when I was in elementary school. And I was homeschooled for three years. So I guess you can say I never had friends. And then I met Kobe and Luke. I thought that they were my best friends. Then they turned on me. Literally. So when you guys came in, I finally know what real friends are. And even though one is sad right now and the other is mad. You still stuck with me. So thank you." I say to him.
He hugs me again but tighter.

"That's the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me." He said with a fake cry.
I laugh at his silliness.

He lets me go and he looks into my eyes.

"Well, you're special, and I'll do anything to keep that beautiful smile on your face. I'm always gonna be here." He tells me.

Okay, I may or may not be blushing right now. I don't know, I can't see my face.

He moved closer to my face and kissed my cheek.

"See you tomorrow." He says to me. He walks past me, leaving me in shock.

I heard my door close and I let out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding in.

I turn around to make sure he was gone. He was.

I go to my bed and scream in my pillow.
I sat up quickly and looked around to make sure no one heard that.

"What are you looking for? The door is closed dummy." I say to myself.

"Leilani why are you talking to yourself?" I hear Juli ask me. I jump at her voice.

"You scared me." I tell her. She walks in and closes the door. She walks over to me and sits on my bed.

"Wussup?" She asks crossing her legs.

"N-nothing. I-I don't know what you're talking about." I tell her stuttering. She gives me a "really" look and I sigh.

"Jake kissed me." I say. She gasps and scoots closer to me.

"Give me all the deets!! Come on spill!" She says excitedly. I turn towards her and cross my legs also.

"Well, it was only on the cheek, but it was what he said that really affected me." I tell her.
