Bella's POVI stood there watching the doctors try and do everything to save Jake. My heart had stopped and I was frozen.
Then all of a sudden, they stopped. He had flatlined and they couldn't do anything else to save him.
I stood there with my hand over my mouth and tears rushing out of my eyes.
I can't believe he's actually gone.
They looked at me and they all apologized.
They told me that I could have a moment to stay with him. Then they left.I walked up to him and stared at his lifeless body.
I couldn't do anything but cry. I want him to come back. I want to hear his voice one more time. I want to hug him just one more time.
I want to look in those beautiful brown eyes and feel weak in the knees one more time.
Just one more time.I laid my head on his and cried. I held his hand and I cried so much.
But that's all I could do."Come back Jake. Please!" I scored.
Then I heard beeping. I looked up and saw the heart beat monitor going up and down again. I scrunched up my eyebrows and then doctors cane in. Then Jakes eyes opened and he took a deep scary breath. He started to breath heavy and he looked around.
His eyes met mine and he weakly pulled me to him. I hugged him and cried. I don't know how this happened. But I know God is good. This is a miracle.
Luke's POV
I was walking down the hallway about to go to last period when I saw Sierra hugging the guy that hit her. She was smiling and laughing and I felt hurt all over again.
I walked past them and turned the corner.
"Luke wait!" I hear Sierra yell. I shook my head and held the bridge of my nose to keep from looking soft in front of her. The last thing I want to do, is cry at school.
"Luke please!" She begged. I kept on walking until she grabbed onto my arm. She tried to stop me but I snatched my arm away from her.
"Luke please!" She said again, but this time it sounded like she was crying.
A part of me wanted to keep walking and leave her there, but a part of me wanted to see what she had to say.
I stopped and sighed. I turned around to face her.
"I'm sorry!" She said to me. She had a strong look of guilt in her eyes.
"I don't care." I say coldly.
She looked down and then looked back up at me."I can't break up with him." She said. I scoffed.
"And why not?" I asked with a glare.
She looked down and mumbled something."What was that?" I ask her. She kept her head down.
"He'll hurt me." She said a little louder.
Now I understand. She's scared that if she breaks up with him, he'll hurt her.
