Kobe's POV

I honestly didn't think before I kissed her. I just did it.

I've always wanted to kiss her, but I never thought I would actually do it.

It was a good kiss though. Her lips were soft and she smelt good.
That was irrelevant to the situation but she did so....

It only lasted for like 8 seconds until she pulled away.

I stared into her eyes and she looked shocked.

Maybe I shouldn't have done that.

"I'm sorry" I tell her.
She sat back in her bed and looked down.

Am I not a good kisser? Did my breath stink? I taste like blood don't I?
That's it.
I know it is.

Leilani's POV

I was not expecting that. Like at all.

He apologized but he didn't do anything wrong. I was just speechless.

"I'm gonna go." He says as he struggles to get up. He is going to hurt himself more.

"No. Sit down. You're going to hurt yourself more." I tell him as I get up and go sit him back down.

He looked up at me and smirked.

"Can you stop doing that. It's annoying" I tell him.

He laughs and I just shake my head.

"Wait. Xavier. I can't leave Xavier over there" He says.

"I'll get him" I tell him. He shakes his head and stands up.

"No. You are not going over there." He tells me seriously. I shake my head.

"I am. You aren't going to stop me." I tell him as I walk towards my door.

"Leilani!" He calls after me. I shush him and walk out of my house.

I run to Kobe's backyard and I see a ladder.

"Maybe that leads to his room" I say to myself.
I start to climb it and once I get to the top I peek in. It's dark so I can't see anything.

I carefully step in and turn on the light. This is definitely his room. I look around and I don't see Xavier. I walk to his door and open it slightly. I walk out and I look around.

There is a plain door and then a door with marvel stickers on it.
I decide to go with the marvel one.

I tip toe to the door and open it. I see Xavier fast asleep in his bed. Awwwwww!!!

I walk over to him and pick him up. I turn around and hurry back to Xavier's room.

How am I going to do this?

"Xavier wake up" I say. But he doesn't wake up. Ok, plan b.

I made it down the ladder safely with Xavier in my arms. I run back to my house but this time I got caught.
