Another One

Luke's POV

I hit send and sat back in my seat.

We're eating breakfast and I just had to end up sitting right in front of Leilani and Kobe.

"Luke you Alright?" Leilani asks me. I nodded and began to eat my food again.

My phone buzzed and I took it out.

Sierra💔: really? Like for real?

Me: yeah, why not?

Sierra💔: Oh, I don't know.
But sure, when?

Me: today?

Sierra💔: Okay, I'll ask.

Me: ask who?

Sierra💔: the people I'm staying with.

Me: oh aight.

I put my phone away and smiled to myself a little.

I need to get over Leilani, the only way how is to move on.

"Leilani have you been practicing walking?" Ms Alana asked Leilani.

She shook her head no.

"I've only been standing. I can barely do that without Kobe holding my waist though." She said.

"Okay good. It's a start. Thank you Kobe." She thanked him. He nodded and smiled, making me look away.

"Luke how long are you staying for?" Juli asked me.

"I leave tomorrow." I reply lowly.

"What? Why didn't you tell me?" Leilani asked me.

"I forgot." I tell her.
I didn't forget. I just didn't tell her.

"Well, we have to do something before you leave."
I sighed lightly.

"Can't. I'm spending the rest of the day with Sierra." I told her. She mouthed "oh" and it was silent again.

I honestly just wanted to leave now. But I need to wait on Sierra.

Right on cue, my phone dinged.

Sierra💔: She said yes. She also insisted of picking you up🤣

I smiled at the message and texted her back.

Me: sigh cool. When you gone be here?

Sierra💔: 20, your at ur house?

Me: nope, my mom dropped me off at Leilani's.

Sierra💔: oh okay, well we're on our way💙

Me: okay
