I stuck my key in the front door and pushed it open gently. It was late now, and I really didn't want to wake the girls up. Kicking off my shoes, I placed my keys in the dish and then spun around, facing darkness from the lounge. Smiling to myself, I ran up the stairs two by two. Everything that I had found out tonight had me scared stiff, I couldn't deny that. But the fact that I knew a Harry was with me, Harry was in my house, relaxed me instantly. Yeah, I was terrified of telling him what was going on, but he had to understand.
I could hear the faint buzzing of the television coming from my room, indicating that Harry was probably still awake. I gingerly opened the door and grinned at him when he clocked me. He was sat up in bed, his top was off and he had my laptop perched on his lap, along with the TV on.
"Got enough going on right now?" I teased, approaching him and giving him a light kiss on the cheek.
"I'm catching up with the football, and I'm on twitter, is that okay with you?" he quipped, smacking my bum hard as I turned around.
I let out a squeal and fell forward, stopping myself from falling by placing my hands on the wardrobe. "Dick."
"I resent that," he replied, shutting the laptop. "Did you have a good night?"
"Uh...yeah thanks."
Now's your chance Liss. Tell him.
"Talk about me much?" he smirked.
"Don't flatter yourself Styles."
"Seriously?" he laughed, his loud peals filling the room. "After all this time, we're back to the last name basis?"
"We're always on a last name basis, it just depends what mood I'm in," I chuckled. "I'm going to go and have a bath, come in the bathroom and talk to me?"
"Yeah, I'll be in now," he replied, putting the laptop on the bedside cabinet and pushing himself up. "I bought some new shampoo and stuff round earlier and left it at the bottom of the stairs if you want to go and get it? I'll start running the bath."
"Thanks love," I smiled, leaving the room and doing as he said.
When I returned upstairs, I could hear the faint running of the taps, and I opened the bathroom door, grinning at the sight that met me. Harry had lit candles around the side of the bath and had filled it with my favourite bubble bath. He reached for my spare hand and pulled me toward him, engulfing me in a hug. The next few minutes were spent in complete silence which wasn't uncomfortable. I got undressed and slipped into the bath when it was full and Harry perched on the toilet seat, watching me intently.
"Harry, stop undressing me with your eyes," I moaned.
"You're already undressed you tit," he murmured, leaving over and splashing water in my face.
"Arse," I replied, wiping the bubbles off of my face. "What's all this in aid of anyway? Don't get me wrong, it's lush, but why?"
"To be honest Liss, I can tell you're stressed. You've got worry lines, you look all tense...I'm just trying to relax you."
"Very insightful," I smirked. "You never used to notice stuff like that."
"Of course I did, I know you like the back of my hand. I just never wanted to say anything, your mood swings used to be horrible."
"I'm not even going to argue with that," I giggled, lying back in the water and watching the candles flickering.
I turned my head to look at Harry. For the first time, I noticed he too had worry lines. He was hunched over, his elbows resting on his knees with his hands clasped, his chin on top of them. Straight away I knew what had happened. I don't even know why, I just knew. Call it woman's intuition.
