Lets be honest, it took you a while to get back in your feet, being shot twice in the chest and almost dying wasn't something you just get back up from in 5 minutes.

It took you exactly 2 years to get back to the way you used to be before the whole Strucker incident. And then after 6 months you got saved by the avengers, they gave you everything you needed, if you joined them.

So you did, you've been working with them for exactly six months now. And today is finally the day you get your revenge on Strucker.

'I'm in...' you whisper through your com.

'We've got company, so move fast...grab the sceptre and get your revenge on Strucker...' Tony replies.

'Shouldn't be too hard...' You mutter as you go through the walls.

(It feels good to have your power back after so long. )

'Hold them...'

'But sir, it's the avengers...'

'Hold them...' you can hear Strucker say.

'Dumbass...' you whisper as you roll your eyes.

You hide behind the wall until all the soldiers have passed and you walk in.

'Let the maximoff twins loose...' Strucker orders into his com as you walk in.

'Pietro...Wanda...' you breathe.

'Yes that's how they're c-' Strucker answers as he turns to see your face.

'Y/n?' He says surprised.

'Strucker...' you answer and you grab a knife from your pocket.

'Don't you want to use your powers for that?' He asks as he steps back.

'I like to do it the old fashion way...' you quote.

You're outside helping the others, Strucker is captured as you decided that would work better than to kill him on the spot.You rush outside and you bump into someone and you close your eyes as you fall to the ground.

Your hearing gets muffled and you moan from the growing headache the bump cost you. You can still feel the person hovering above you and you slowly open your eyes, your vision blurry for a second, at least until you blinked a couple times.

you can see some colours and the outline of a man.
grey hair, blue and black suit with some white stripes on them. your vision gets clear and it seems like time slows for you two.

'y/n...' Pietro says when he recognises you.

'watch where you're going punk...' you joke with big smile.

'but... you died...' he responds as he pulls you up.

'I did, well not completely...my manipulation helped a little with staying alive...I escaped before they could notice...' you explain as he just stares at you.

'I kept my promise...'

'I know...I'm so proud of you Pietro...' you reply as you lay your hand on his cheek.

He puts his hand on top of it and smiles at you. He puts the other around your waist as he pulls you close. You quickly move your hand and you hug him. He buries his face in your neck and you smile.

'Lets go home...' he suggests as you both let go.

'No Pietro...I am home...my home is not a place...it's a person...' you answer.

'We have everything we need, we can go back y/n...'

'I'll catch up, I have something I need to do first...'

'Just make it quick, we have one of the two twins...they both have been given shelter at the compound...' you hear Stark say.

'I will...' you answer and  turn to Pietro again.

'You've been given shelter at the compound in New York, together with Wanda...so you're coming with me sir...' you smile as you pull his hand.

'Wait I have to do one more thing before I go with you...' he replies.

He pulls your hand and crashes his lips against yours in a bruising matter.

You stay there for a couple minutes. Just trying to catch up on everything you've missed in those 2 years and 6 months.

When you're done you walk to the jet, hand in hand and with a huge smile on you're faces.
