Song: Mumford & sons - little lion man.

Imagine: you're worried because Tony has spend his entire day and evening down stairs.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

You open your eyes and look around, you fell asleep on the couch waiting for Tony to come back up.

And to your surprise, but not really, he hasn't come up yet, making it a total of 16 hours in the basement.

'God, this has to stop..' you groan as you get up and make your way down to the basement.

You open the glass door and you see Tony sitting at one of the tables. His head in his hand, eyes barely open and a cup of coffee, probably cold, almost falling off of the table.

You slowly walk to him and you call out to him a few times, but no response.

'Tony?' You try one more time but this time you put your hand on his shoulder.

He flinched and shoves the cup off of the table, you catch it just in time.

He immediately goes back to work and you wrap your arms around him from behind and you lay your chin on his shoulder.

'Come to bed Tony...please?' You whisper.

'I can't, I'm working...'

'Tony you need to listen to your body, you are tired...it is okay to sleep...your work isn't going anywhere without you...it will be here in the morning...'

'You're distracting me y/n...'

'Good...' you smile as you kiss his neck.

'Y/n stop in trying to work...' his tone is stern and not amused, making you stop and frown.

'What has gotten into you...Tony this has got to stop...when I agreed to move in, I wasn't expecting you to be down here all day, every day...'

'That's what you signed up for didn't you?'

'Okay this is the lack of sleep talking, at least that's what I hope for you...'

'Please just go back upstairs and stop bothering me..'

'Tony..' you warm him.

'You're behaving like a child y/n...'

'Only because you won't give me attention...'

'Last time I checked you weren't such an attention seeking-..'

'Excuse me?, you better not finish that sentence...' you argue.

'Just go to bed..'

'Only if you come with me Tony, I'm not spending my nights alone anymore..'

'Just go!' He raises his voice at you, making you flinch and step back.

'Wait y/n, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that..' he apologises as fast as he possibly can.

You shake your head and you rush upstairs, grabbing a blanket and going to the balcony.

It's sunset.

You sit down and wrap the blanket around you as you start to sniff.

He never raised his voice at you like that. NEVER.

You're hurt, upset and you feel a little scared. Scared that he doesn't want you here anymore.

You stare at the ocean, completely losing yourself in thoughts. You don't even notice that you stop crying.

You don't even hear the door open behind you.

You finally snap out of your thoughts when Tony sits next to you.

'Y/n, I'm sorry...'

You don't reply and you don't even look at him, he needs to know that he can't talk to you like that without consequences.

'Y/n, you're the best thing that ever happened to me, and I am neglecting you, and it was the sleep talking, you are right, I need a break and you need someone next to you...by your side...I asked you to move in with me and I haven't spend any time on you...the most important person in my life...'

'I don't know wether I should throw you off a cliff or kiss you right now...' you respond.

'Can I pick?' He jokes and you smile.

He scoots over to you and you lay your head down on his shoulder.

'I'm really sorry...I should listen to you...'

'You should, it would be good for you...'

'Forgive me?'

'I'm not mad at you...I'm just...upset...there's a difference...'

'It's because of me, and I hate myself for it...'

'Promise me next time you will keep that mouth shut and I will forget about this...'

'You're negotiating with me...'

'Looks like I'm learning from you...' you chuckle.

'I promise...' he smiles softly and you sigh.

'You better keep that promise, or I will punch you in the face if you talk like that again...'

'Yes ma'am...'
