Song: Imagine Dragons - boomerang.

Imagine; you're walking in Central Park and you're in your own world, accidentally running into Bucky.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

You're completely shut off from the outside world, just letting everything sink in.

You like afternoons like this, a little stormy as it might be labelled.

You look around at the yellow, orange and brown leafs, you listen to the howling of the wind and you feel the rain on your skin.

People around you hurry off to their homes but not you, a little rain doesn't stop you from enjoying such weather.

You always feel at peace while chaos is around you. You're so enjoying this that you don't even see a man approaching you.

Before you could step out of the way you bump into him, almost sending you to the ground.

'I'm so sorry!' You both say at the same time.

You now notice the man has his arm wrapped around your waist, holding you from falling.

Wow he's strong.

'I didn't see you, I'm so sorry, I should probably get my head out of the clouds..' you apologise as he pulls you up again.

'Sorry I should've looked too...' he smiles softly.

'Thanks for catching me...if it wasn't for you doing that I would've been covered in mud and leafs...' you thank him.

'You're welcome...' he says and it stays awkwardly silent between the two of you.

'I should probably go...thanks again..' you smile as you walk away with a blush creeping on your face.

Your day just went down hill from there, your job sucked and since you've been working it started really raining.

Your umbrella broke on the way home and now you're trying to shield the little work you have left in your purse from getting wet.

Suddenly someone bumps into your shoulder and you again almost get tossed to the sidewalk.

Again an arm wraps around your waist stopping your fall.

The rain blurs your vision a bit but you see the same man you encountered this morning.

'I was looking this time I swear...' he grins as he pulls you on your feet again.

'I believe you..' you smile as you clear your throat.

'We should Uh, probably shelter from the rain..' the man nods and pulls you under one of glass ceilings from a shop.

'James...' he stretches out his hand.

'Y/n..' you shake his hand.

'What's on your mind?, now I'm curious why you're not paying attention to your surroundings?' He asks bluntly making you let out a chuckle.

'I think about a lot of things, work and stuff...'

'Where do you work?'

'New York daily...I'm a journalist...' you reply.

'Interesting...' he nods.

'So what kind of work do you do James?' You ask.

'I'm a Uh...I don't have a job..' he lies.

'You sure about that?' You grin knowing that he's lying.

'Okay, well it's hard to explain..'

'You're a hero...' you fill in and his eyes widen in shock.

'How did y-'

'I have an eye for it...'

'Okay, well...Miss eye-for-it...do you maybe want to grab a coffee to warm up?'

'I'd love to...'
