Avengers Imagines pt.1

Imagine: being on a mission with Steve and having to jump into the freezing ocean.

'Hop on!' Steve yells as you jump to the jet.

You almost got it but you end up grabbing onto the loading dock.

You hit the side of your torso by grabbing it and you let out a scream.

'Y/n...here let me pull you up..'

'Steve hurry I'm slipping...' you say as you're holding on with three fingers, two...and one.

And then you slip away. Steve grabs your arm just when you slip and he pulls you up onto your feet.

'Thanks...' you comment as you sit down in a seat.

'You okay? , you took quite the hit back there...' Steve asks.

'Yeah I'm fine...an ice pack will make things better.

Suddenly the jet gets some turbulence, the loading dock opens and you stand up to close them again but you lose balance and you hit your head against the wall and fall out.

'Y/n!' Steve yells as he unbuckles himself and jumps after you into the freezing ocean.

You drop further and further into the ocean as Steve tries to catch up on you and pull you out before it's too late.

He puts his arm under yours and he pulls you up to the surface.

He gasps for air as he comes up and he sees you're still unconscious.

You suddenly open your eyes and you spit out the water.

You gasp for air as you try to stay above water. Steve pulls you up and you calm down a bit.

'This is not what I meant when I said I needed an ice pack..' you sass.

'You almost drowned, are you seriously being a smart ass right now?'

'Yes, yes I do, and thanks again...' you reply.

'You're welcome...' he pants as he starts to swim to the shore.

'Steve?'

'Yeah?'

'Remind me that I need to ask you something when we reach the shore...'

'Sure..you can ask it now if you want...'

'Wanna go on a date with me?' You blurt out.

'Took you long enough...but yes...' he answers.
