'On your two!' You yell into your com and Nat shoots the last soldier.

'Good work y/n...'

'Thanks...'

'Lets go get cleaned up for the last part of our mission shall we?'

'Yeah...we've got a lot of blood to wipe off..' you chuckle as you two walk to the helicopter.

'So what are you wearing, tonight I mean?' Nat asks.

'Uh, well I have this dress, it's more of a ballgown...but that's what I'll wear...' you blush as you smile at her.

'I've got Steve pick one out for me so count on something very....'

'Vintage?'

'Ancient...'

'Oh..' you chuckle.

'Okay eyes out for the enemy...they're everywhere..'

'I was counting on that since were in their building...' You sass.

'Yeah yeah I'll keep an eye out for them...'

'Where are you?'

'I'm entering now...' you smile as you walk in.

'Too much?' You ask when you see her face.

'No no it's perfect...let's split up...and uh get what we need...'

'It's a little bottle with poison right?'

'Yes but don't get anything on you, it will kill you within a minute...'

'Got it, so who's got it?'

'The man in the green...at the bar...'

'I got him you try to distract them...'

You walk up to the bar and order a drink, you try to be as seductive as possible and it clearly catches on.

'Mister Adams...' the man greets you by kissing your hand.

'Miss Reed...' you smirk.

'Well miss Reed, What brings you here?'

'I'm just here to have a good time...' you chuckle.

'Care for a dance?'

'I'd love to dance...' you take his hand and put your drink down.

You walk with him and he pulls you against him. You start to dance and you secretly look around the room to find Nat looking at you. Jealousy written in her body language and facial expression.

You pretend to misstep and you act like you almost break your foot. In all the commotion you grab the bottle and reach for your heel. You put it against your ankle and strip it down quickly.

'You okay?' He chuckles and you nod with a small smile.

'I'm okay, it's just uh, I don't normally wear a huge dress with heels...' 

'It's a bit different than a catsuit is it?'

'Yeah..wait how did-'

'You got spy written all over you...the poison will soon start kicking in...'

Your stomach drops when you feel the poison stinging in your throat. You push him out of the way . You start coughing and choking as you rush out of the crowd.

'Y/n!' Natascha yells as she follows you.

You run outside for air but your throat fills itself with blood, you cough it out and fal to your knees as you clutch your neck. then you fall to the ground and look up to the sky. Your body becoming numb.

'Y/N!' Natascha yells again and gasps when she sees you laying on thr ground, lifeless.

'no, no, no,nononononononono' she repeats as she rushes to you. she starts to sob as she tries to wake you up.

'I need help!, Fury!' she yells and a couple soldiers come rushing in, taking you and Natascha back to SHIELD.

'she's gone Natascha, I'm sorry...' Maria comes up to her and gives her a hug.

'I was gonna tell her....tell her that I loved her...' she chokes up as she looks at your body laying on the bed.

'I'm sure she knew...' Maria comforts her.

You open your eyes and gasp at the same time. You sit up and look around to see stunned faces across the silent room.

'what?' you speak up.

'y-you d-died!'

'what?!, no,no, you don't understand, I can't die, I'm immortal....didn't someone tell you?'

'nat wait!' Maria yells after he but she runs in anway and rushes to you.

She throws herself onto you and hugs you.

'I saw you die!' she sobs.

'It's okay Nat, I'm immortal I thought you knew...it just takes a while before my body picks up the pace again...'

'i thought I lost you forever..'

'you didn't......'

'I....I have something to tell you, I was going to tell you before the party but I didn't get a chance....I...I love you..' she blurts and you chuckle.

'I wasn't sure you liked me back so I was scared and mhpf-' she gets interupted by you pulling her towards you and pressing your lips against hers.

'I do like you back..'
