You mouth the lyrics of the song as you practise your dance for the football game, you're a cheerleader, one of the best actually.

You do your routine and you move on the beat when you feel two hands wrap around you and you chuckle as the music keeps playing.

'Surprise...' you get whispered in your ear and your smile turns into a smirk.

'And what do you think you're doing here?' You speak up.

'What can't a guy see his girl dance?'

'He can...But it would be a huge distraction...'

'Oh come on, you're one of the best in school, you can take a break can't you?' Bucky suggests.

'I can, I was done anyway...' you reply as you walk to the music and stop it.

'So how long do you think Tony and Steve are gonna keep this up?'

'You know them, anything to outdo the other... but I kinda feel guilty for you, you're not getting to show me off and neither do I get to show you off...' you say putting your arm around his neck and leaning back.

'I'm perfectly fine with it, for now...' Buck replies kissing you.

First class in the morning, the only fun thing is that you're with your friends, but that's the only fun thing really.

You lean on your elbow as you write down some notes, well you were actually drawing your heart out on that paper, lets say paying attention isn't your strongest virtue. 

'Pssst y/n...' Nat says as she taps on your arm.

'What...' you hiss.

'It's from Stark..' she winks. She knows about your little experiment and she enjoys every second of it, every note, every groan from the other.

You slowly slid it under the table and open it and read it.

'Wanna hang out after school?'

You look at Stark laid back in his chair giving you a wink.

You smirk and blush a bit. He chuckles softly, just loud enough for you to hear, earning a groan from Steve, who you know is watching.

You shake your head as you smile, the silliness of this is making you want to burst out laughing.

Steve smirks as he sees you shake your head and you put a cross at Yes.

You hand the note back to Nat and she gives it to Stark, who you swear does a little victory dance as he sees what you wrote.

And that's how it goes on for another week, getting notes, flowers, going on dates.

But after a week it starts to get out of hand.

'I've got her tied around my finger Rogers, forget it!' Tony yells at Steve.

'Yeah because you haven't said that before!' Steve replies back.

The whole schools gathers around them and you glance at Bucky.

'This is getting out of hand, I need to do something...' you mouth.

'Go...' Bucky nods as you rush to the group.

You elbow people aside and you reach the very core of the argument.

'Why would she be yours huh?, she likes danger...not safety...' Stark adds.

'Oh but why would she like a skirt chaser?!' He replies.

'Guys stop!' You say firmly.

'Fine if you're so sure why don't we ask y/n...' Tony suggests and you state at him.

'Well?' Steve asks.

'I'm already taken...' you mutter.

'What?!' Tony blurts out.

'By who?!' Steve also blurts out.

'By me..' Bucky answers as he puts an arm around your waist and pulls you close.

'That's real messed up y/n...' Tony says.

'Is it?, you both need to stop hitting on everything that's female...you're so busy going after me that you actually shut out the people that have a crush on you...'

'Like?' Steve asks.

'Sharon likes you, and Pepper likes you Tony...why don't you go after them instead of me'

It stays quiet and you wait for them to say anything.

Then they start staring at Bucky with a murderous glare in their eyes and you look at Bucky.

'Seems like I got to make a run for it then, I see you tonight..' Bucky states as he pecks you on the lips.

He lets his hand slide off of your waist as he starts to run away, Steve and Tony running after him.

Nat stands next to you and you both smirk.
