(Yes, I realize it doesn't rhyme.)

        I never knew what it felt like;

        To love and be loved...

        I never wanted to know,

        I didn't want to fall apart again.

        But when I looked in your eyes,

        I saw everything I needed to see.

        I saw the hate and the lies,

        That made you come to me.

        I know I hurt you before,        

        But I promise you it won't happen again.

        I've never cared for someone so much.

        Never felt the need to love.

        But I've got your love,

        I don't need anything else in the world.

        I don't care about the pain,

        Don't care about the tears.

        I'm falling for you again,

        And it feels like it's been years.

        But it's only been months.

        Months since I set my eyes on you.

        I know I never admitted it to you, to myself.

        But I was scared.

        Scared you'd love somebody else.

        But I've got your love.

        And that's all that matters to me... <3

        **Author's Note**

        I know it isn't all that great. But I've been thinking about someone and I figured I'd finally update my poems, since it took FOREVERR, hehe. This was off of the top of my head. Um... Comment your thoughts? I promise the next one will be tons better. Cross my heart, hope to die, and that other shit.
