I never thought you'd love me.
I never even thought you'd care.
But now that my scars are healing.
Just say you'll always be there.
I would give you everything.
It's the least that I can do.
I don't care what the future brings,
Just as long as I have you.
So promise me you'll never leave,
Don't let me fall apart.
Hold me close, make me believe,
That you won't break my heart.
For the first time in my life,
I'm not afraid of my feelings.
No need for blades or knives,
I can let my cuts keep healing.
This is more than just a summer fling.
It's more than a "high school romance."
As time goes on, you mean more to me.
Because you gave my heart a chance.
