Tonight is Payback. The night that Nikki, Roman, and John have been waiting for.. The three all had separate reasons to be on edge tonight.
Nikki Bella walked into the tv area, feeling anxious.. Of course, she had her complete faith in Roman beating John.. But she also knew John wasn't the type to lose so quickly.
A smile crept on her face as she saw him appear in her screen.. His eyes focused and ready.. A look that she has always loved. He looked around the arena before climbing into the ring, flipping his hair out of his face.
The smile vanished when John came out.. He had a cheery smile to him as he ran down into the ring. Throwing his shirt and hat to the crowd before circling his attention back to Roman.
They exchanged death looks as the ref stepped in the middle of the ring and called for the bell, starting the match. The both of them trying to outfight each other..
Minutes later, Roman moved the fight ringside.. Still John didn't back down. He dragged Roman off to the announce tables, slamming his face off of it.
John threw off the logos and picked Roman up, laying him on the table.. He climbed on and tried to grabbed Roman on top of his shoulders.. But Roman freed himself. He pushed John off and speared him through the announce table..

Both of them landing hard. The ref started the count, Roman got to his feet first. He grabbed John and got him into the ring, trying to get the winning pin but only getting a two count.
The match carried on with John getting back to his feet and the two alpha males trying to up on another.. Stopping at absolutely nothing to gain the win.
John had Roman down on the mat.. He climbed to the top rope and tried to hit a leg drop but Roman slid through.. John landed on his feet and tried to clothesline Roman.
Roman flipped out of the way, causing John to stumble backwards. Only to be knocked down with a massive spear. Roman went for the pin, this time gaining the win.
The ref called for the bell, ending the match. He stood up and watched as John sat in the corner. John grabbed the rope, getting on his feet.. John walked towards Roman and grabbed his hand lifting it in the air.

Nikki watched, happily.. But it all changed when she saw John punched Roman. He grabbed Roman onto his shoulders and slammed him in the middle of the ring with an AA..
She watched as John smirked before rolling out of the ring.. She walked to the gorilla to go check on Roman, when she walked into him.
"Why did you do that? Why couldn't you just walk away?!" He looked at her "Why? I spent the last nine months dealing with you.. Only for you to dump me for Roman.. What did you think? I was just gonna let him have you?"
She looked at him, confused. "Have me? I'm not an object.." He chuckled "It doesn't matter what you are.. All that matters is that you guys won't last and I want you to know that I'll be the reason why."
He smiled at her one more time before walking away, a pep in every single step.. She watched as he vanished into the hallway. She turned back, hearing Roman groaning as he walked..
"You okay?" "Yeah." She wrapped his arm around her neck as she helped him walked.. John's voice echoing in her head.
"All that matters is that you guys won't last and I want you to know that I'll be the reason why."
