Grayson's pov
—"Did I scare her?" I asked, nervously looking at Ethan as we walked towards the school cafeteria.
"No, you didn't. But, Grayson, you can't do that stuff. You can't go breaking plates because you're scared. Next time, call Angel. You scared me." He looked at me for a brief second, then back at the doors we were heading to.
"She loves me." I told him, he nodded.
"I know. And you love her too." He smiled at me as we walked into crowded cafeteria. I scanned the rows of chairs, trying to find Angel. I found her, but only when she stood up and waved Ethan and I over.
"Hey there, boyfriend and boyfriend's twin." She smiled as she moved her backpack off the two chairs next to her's. Ethan and I laughed.
Angel, grabbed my face softly, and pulled it to hers. I was shocked she did it right there. She's not the type to do this, or maybe I'm not the type to do this; kiss someone so publicly and for so long.
"I missed you yesterday. How was your day off from school?" She asks, fixing her shirt. I shrug, "I just laid in bed all day. You?"
"I did the same thing." She laughed softly and rested her hand on my bicep. She smiled, pulling her hand away, when there were taps on the microphone, making sound come from the speakers around the cafeteria.
"Good morning, students," the principal spoke into the microphone. Everyone greeted him with a good morning back.
"We have some good news." He spoke, looking behind him at our vice principal, Ms. Ally. We all waited quietly as he didn't speak for a moment.
"Our conditioning for track and field will be starting on Monday. If you are interested, please make sure you have a physical done before coming. Conditioning is optional, but you have to at least come to try outs at the end of this month. I hope to see new faces on the field." He said, then walked out of the cafeteria.
"Well, that was anticlimactic." Angel rolls her eyes as she stands up from her seat, grabbing her backpack. I grab ahold of her hand as she starts to walk away, she smiles at me as I follow her out.
"Are you going to try out for the track team?" I asked, turning into an empty hallway. She shrugs, "I don't think so. Maybe next year." She lets go of my hand as she starts to walk towards her next class.
"Why not?" I ask, catching up to her. She stops and looks at me.
"Grayson, baby, I was a trackstar at my old school. I don't need to be one here too. I'm not even good, why does it matter?" She runs her hand over my cheek.
"Because if you're good at something, then you'd get better. Plus, theres scouts who can watch you, and offer your scholarships." I rested my hands on her hips as she looked into my eyes.
"I'll think about it, okay?" She leans up and plants a kiss on my lips. I nod, "okay. Now, go to class." She laughs as I say this. She pulls away from my body and starts to head towards her class again.
Monday
Angel's pov
—"Ang, I'm going to visit your father. Your brother is coming with me. Please be careful with whatever you do while I'm gone. We'll be back Sunday." My mom kissed the side of my head as she pulled her suitcase behind her.
