Angel's pov
—Grayson's soft nudges are what wake me up from my peaceful slumber. He then kisses my forehead while I rub my eyes tiredly.
"I'm leaving for school, I'll pick you up after and we can go to lunch? Then head back to my house for the party, sound okay?" He asks, I sit up and nod. I lean towards him and give him a kiss before I grab my robe off the back of my chair.
"Stay in bed, Ang." He tried to stop me from getting up. I shook my head and walked towards my bedroom door, opening it and heading down the stairs.
He followed behind slowly, probably still tired from staying up all night doing homework. He had an essay to write and I helped him. It's his last day of school and this essay was really important.
"I'll go to the store and get the soda, pick up some snacks, and all of that after I shower. I'll drop them off at your place too." I said before opening the front door for him.
"You know where the spare key is still?" He asks, stepping outside. I nodded as I pushed my lips together to kiss him. He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine, pulling away seconds later.
"I love you, I'll see you later when I pick you up." He turns to walk away.
"I love you more." I shout to him as he gets to his car.
He waved a fast goodbye, and drove off to school. I closed the front door and locked it before going back upstairs to start getting ready for the day.
Grayson and Ethan were throwing an 'End of the Year' party at their house. Its only a few people who aren't in our four-way friendship. Well, Ethan still hates me, but you know what I mean.
Chance had invited his sister, who is a grade older than all of us. I didn't even know he had a sister, nor did I know that she went to the same school as they did. But I was glad he was inviting her. At least I'll know one woman who wouldn't hate my guts... hopefully.
—
I pulled my car back into my driveway and let off a small sigh. It was almost 3:30 now, and running errands was a lot more stressful than I had wanted it to me. It was full of not knowing what people would like. I only really knew what the four of us liked, since we usually hangout together. But I had to get stuff for people who I don't usually hangout with.
I opened the door of my car, and got out. I walked to the front door and opened it, then closed it softly. My mom was home, I could hear heels tapping on the floor of the kitchen. She must have parked in our garage.
"Ang, is that you?" She called, I walked around the corner to be in the eyesight of her. She smiled at me as she was adjusting her skirt.
"I just came home to grab my lunch. Where were you?" She asks.
"I was getting stuff for the party, then I dropped it off at the twin's." I answered, grabbing something to eat out of the fridge.
"Will you be staying over there tonight?" She asks, walking towards the garage door.
"Most likely. Is that okay?"
"Of course, honey. I'll see you tomorrow then?" She asks, I nod.
"Bye, momma. Love you, have a good day!" I smiled as she walked into the garage. She returned the same words and went on her way.
I walked up stairs and went straight to my closet.
"What should I wear?" I asked myself, running my finger over my lip. I pushed a bunch of old dresses out of the way until I reached my favorite.
It was a short and simple, red colored dress. It was a tight fitting dress, but not too tight. I checked to make sure there were no stains from when I had washed it with my dark clothes. Luckily, there weren't any. I laid the dress on my bed as I walked over to the small shoe rack I have by my bathroom door. I grabbed my only pair of white heels and set them next to the dress.
I smiled in delight as I saw the entire outfit laid out. I was planning to wear a pair of shear, white stockings. Just to make it look more elegant. Plus, I do want to look good.
—
Grayson opened the door to his house after I knocked a few times. He eyed my body, taking in the sight of my dress. He smiled and pulled me inside, giving me many kisses on my lips. I laughed and pulled him down for one, long, passionate kiss before pulling away and looking at everyone who was here already.
"Theres more people than I thought." I looked at him confused.
"Thats all because of Ethan. If you want to go home and not be here, thats okay, Ang. I'll go with you." He rested his hand on my lower back.
I shook my head, "no, its okay. I think we'll have fun." He smiled and led me into the kitchen. There was Ethan and Chance standing facing each other. They were both noticeably drunk already.
"Angie! You made it!" Chance slurred as he ran over to me. I laughed as we hugged, Grayson did too. Ethan eyed my from where he was standing. He smiled at me before walking over.
"You look nice." He complimented, then walked off with Chance.
"That was weird," I whispered to myself. Grayson chuckled and pulled me close to him, "lets hope he keeps that attitude forever."
The party went on, and people started leaving around 11:30ish. Which was fine by me. I sat in the kitchen while Grayson made our sober selves something to eat. Ethan and Chance were in the backyard with the few people who were left, and soon they even left.
Now it was the four of us, plus Chance's sister and her boyfriend.
Chance and Ethan walked inside the kitchen and stood there looking at Grayson and I for a moment. I looked at Grayson confused as Grayson looked at me with the same look.
"I have something to say." Ethan began. Grayson turned all his attention to Ethan, as did I and so did Chance's sister and her boyfriend.
"Whats up, E?" Grayson asked, Ethan looked at me, then at Chance and cupped his face. He pulled Chance closer and kissed him. Long and hard. I was shocked. Grayson was shocked. Chance's sister and her boyfriend were shocked.
"Holy shit, dude!" Grayson went up to Ethan and hugged him tightly. I smiled at how supportive he was of his brother.
"Thank you, Ang. For making me feel less nervous about being honest with myself." Ethan looked at me as he walked closer. "I'm sorry for how rude I was to you. You had asked a silly question, which happened to be true. I was scared to tell you, or Grayson."
"Its okay, Ethan." I smiled, hugging him. He smiled as he hugged me back.
"Also, Chance and I've been dating for two months." Ethan slid in there as we pulled away from our hug.
"Congrats, E." Grayson smiled at his brother then at me.
"I love you, Angel. Thank you for helping him, without knowing you helped him." Grayson came over and kissed me. I smiled and pulled my lips away, but rested our foreheads on each other's.
"I love you too, Gray."
