Angel's pov

I waited impatiently for the bell of sixth period to ring. I was tired and really could use a nap, especially after not getting any sleep last night. I was exhausted.

"Angel, are you and Grayson still on for tonight?" Ethan asked, tapping my shoulder. I looked to my side, where he was sitting in his desk. I nodded and rubbed my eyes out of exhaustion.

"Everyone else is still coming later right?" I asked, he nodded.

"Has he asked you out yet?" He changed the subject quickly. I shook my head, being honest. "So he hasn't asked you to be his actual girlfriend? But you guys openly hold hands around school and disappear at lunch, and kiss before parting ways to class?" Ethan fake gagged and chuckled. I nodded and laid my head back down.

"Is there a problem with that?" I ask, closing my eyes. Just as my eyelashes rest on my cheeks, the bell rings. I sigh in relief and get out of my desk. Ethan and Jason both wait for me to catch up to the at the door before leaving the class.

I exit the class with them and we start to walk towards Grayson's classroom. I watch him walk out into the crowded hallway and then witness Tess pull him to the side. I huff and push past Ethan and Jason. Theres no way in hell I'm allowing her to say anything to him. I finally reach them and see her pointing her finger at her phone. Grayson shakes his head viciously and covers his ears. He looked so distressed.

"Get the fuck away from him!" I snapped, shoving her back and turning to look at Grayson. His eyes were closed and his hands still covered his ears. He was shaking his head from side to side. I felt my hair being tugged, hard enough to make me trip backwards. At least my hair is real, and it didn't come off my head at the tug. I turn around ready to sock whoever grabbed my hair, realizing it was Tess. I still go to sock her, but Grayson's arms pull me away. He held my arms down from being able to get out if his grip.

"Grayson, let me go!" I squirmed in his hold, trying to get out of it as hard as I could. Jason and Ethan looked at us confused as I huffed and still tried to get out of his grip to go after Tess. Why did he have to stop me? She made him so upset.

"I'm going to kill her." I huffed as soon as she was out of sight and Grayson let go of me. Ethan looked at Grayson. He began to sign, and Ethan nodded.

"Don't do it. Don't fight her. Ignore what she says about him." Ethan said, grabbing my shoulder and squeezing it slightly. I shook my head and pulled away.

"No. I'm tired of you allowing her to be so damn rude to him. He doesn't deserve this, any of it. He is an amazing person, and you know that! Why don't you ever defend him?" I huffed and walked towards the front doors of the school. I heard running behind me. Ignoring it, I bursted through the door of the school and walked to my car. I soon felt Grayson's hand on my waist, pulling me back towards him. His grip was tight, tighter than it usually is. Like he was being forceful on purpose.

"Leave me alone. Please." I begged, my voice now weak. I got too angry, about Tess making Grayson act like that. I needed to go calm down. Grayson doesn't know about my depression or my bipolar, I don't want him to know about my depression or bipolar.

"Please, just let me be alone. I need to be alone, Grayson." I yanked my body away from his. He looked so sad when I looked over my shoulder as I walked faster towards my car. Ethan caught up to him, which is when I turned around and unlocked my car. I really, really needed that nap right now.
