Angel's pov

Grayson's hand rested on my thigh as he drove up the rocky, curvy driveway. I could see the cabin from behind the trees as we got closer, and my mind automatically cleared. It's always been this way.

When I come to the mountains, my mind is always able to process things better. Maybe it's because I don't have the stress of my parents on me any more, or I just feel more relaxed because I left my problems at home.

"Ethan, Chance, we're here." I turned my body so I could talk to them. Grayson put the car in park and looked over at me as the two boys in the back got out of the car so groggily that they were bound to fall.

"Excited for this weekend?" I ask, looking at Grayson. He smiled and nodded.

"Definitely. You have so much planned, I'm so excited to do everything that makes you happy." He leaned over and kissed me before getting out of the car.

We all got our luggage, well Grayson took mine from me, and headed towards the front door of the wood-based cabin.

"The lake is so nice, I can't wait to skinny dip." Chance says, following me inside the house. I laughed as I shook my head and set my phone on the counter in the kitchen.

"You only get to skinny dip if Angel and I get our turn to do so by ourselves." Grayson chuckled as he set our bags on the floor.

"I'll take these to our room." I smiled at him, grabbing both the light-weight duffle bags filled with our clothes.

"Don't be too loud kids!" Ethan jokingly yelled as Grayson followed me to the stairs.

"I think I'm going to send them to the grocery store. Then we have some alone time." I set the bags on the bed of our upstairs room. Grayson smiled as he looked around it, then at me.

"We can have all the alone time we want. Ethan doesn't care." He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close. I laughed and leaned up to kiss him. He smiled and pulled away, tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"This weekend is going to he the best weekend of this entire year." I squished his cheeks with one hand, causing both of us to laugh.

"Then lets start it off right." He hoisted me up in his arms, gently lying me on the bed.

Grayson throws random stuff into the shopping cart that I pushed down the aisle.

"Grayson we do not need that much bread for three days." I huffed as I grabbed two of the four sourdough bread bags and put them back on the shelf.

"But I like bread." He narrowed his eyes at me. I rolled my eyes and shoved him forward to move away from the bread shelves.

"I think we have enough meat and drinks for the next three days, can we go now?" I ask, looking at him. He nodded and walked around the cart, starting to push it.

"You look so tired, babe." He commented as we got to the check out. I nodded my head as we started loading the conveyor belt with our food.

"I am." I laughed softly as I walked to the card reader as I waited for all the food to be rung up.

"I'll cook when we get back, you need to take a nap. Deal?" He asks, I nod.
