Angel's pov
—"Grayson, can you go get Haley from her bedroom?" I asked, looking up from the table. He nodded, leaving Grant's side. Grant looked at me, smiling as he wrote on his paper.
He put his pencil down, and raised his hands as he began to sign, "when are you having the baby?"
I smiled at my son, seeing him so excited for another sibling. I heard Haley laughing as she came down the stairs with Grayson.
"Soon." I signed back to Grant. He nodded, picking up his pencil to finish his math homework.
"I'm going to run to the grocery store, do you need anything, babe?" Grayson asked, resting his large hand on my swollen, round stomach. I sighed, resting my hand on top of his.
"Is that a way of you telling me we all need to go?" He asked, laughing. I nodded.
"Yeah, I need to pick up some woman products for after the birth." I looked at him, he nodded. He removed his hand from my stomach, walking around the dining table to Grant. He rested his hand on his back, causing Grant to look up.
"Go get in the car with Haley." Grayson signed, Grant nodded, getting off his chair and following Haley outside.
"Let's get some shoes on you, my lady." Grayson chuckles, sliding my slides closer to my feet.
"This is all because you don't know what a condom is." I shoved Grayson lightly as he laughed.
"You're still as beautiful as the day we met,"
I rubbed my eyes, sitting up in my bed. It was all a dream. All of that, pure, amazing feeling was just a damn dream. I felt the pit of sadness in my stomach again. I missed Grayson and our relationship so dearly.
I laid back down, bumping into a figure. I shot back up, turning my head to see Chance's back to me. He was asleep on his side.
"Oh," i breathed out in relief. I thought it was going to be someone random.
I got off my bed, opening my bedroom door to see if anyone else was here.
Nobody else was home. I'm assuming Chance and I both fell asleep while watching the movie we rented last night. Thats the most likely-est reason as to why he would be asleep in my bed.
I sat at the kitchen counter, scrolling through my snapchat. Nobody posts much here. It's actually quite boring now that I don't have Grayson to love up on, or Ethan to purposely annoy.
I truly hope that things begin to straighten out. I miss Grayson a lot. More than I'd ever missed someone before. He was the only one who was always, solidly there for me. We spent almost everyday together. Mainly because we went to school five days a week, but even on weekends. He and I would be at each others houses, always messing around. Not sexually, we've only had sex once. But we would genuinely have fun, outside of the bedroom. He was such a funny, carefree person. I missed that the most. He made me experience life in a way I hadn't before. Carefree.
"Hey." Chance's voice broke out downstairs. I turned my head, sending him a warm smile before turn back to my phone.
"I'm sorry I slept in your bed with you. You fell asleep in my arms while crying and I didn't want to wake you up. You needed rest." He had his backpack in hand. I realize now that he actually has school, while I'm still suspended until Tuesday. It's Thursday.
