Last night I showered, ate left overs and headed to bed on the couch. Lucy was really late coming home. She didn't come home until I was asleep so I didn't really know when she got home. Lucy let me help make breakfast this morning and I ate more then normal. I was starving. The morning was normal enough and we headed to work again.
It gets a bit repetitive but some days you have a hundred things to do while some days you have 10 minuets of work and then the rest of the day to fuck around.
Today was a 10 minuet day. I always stay in or near the building so Lucy can call me if she needs help.
It was Thursday to I had no plans or anything to do. I decided to go for a walk. The air outside this morning was cool and moist. Dew covered the grass and people were moving to where ever they needed to go. About a block away I noticed a building and a few people outside of it. One was just finishing hammering a 'For Sale' sign into the ground. The building was a one story building, it had a full wall of glass in the front and I could see tables on the inside. It was made out of gray brick and the roof was flat and trimmed in red. The sigh on the building read 'Frez IceCream'. I wonder why they closed.
Curiosity rushed over my mind and I found myself walking to the three people. They didn't recognize me.
"Hey, where's your mom. You really shouldn't be on this property." I gave an unamused face and tossed my ID to the guy who was speaking. I turned to one of the other people. It was a woman.
"I wanted to ask why this place closed down?" She gave the guy with my ID, I'll call him dumb ass, a weird look.
"The owner just didn't want the building anymore." She spoke to me like a normal person. Dumb ass just looked from me to my ID dumb founded. I smirked at that.
"How much is it selling for?" I said. The lady took my ID and glossed over it.
"Wow, older then you look. It's $250,000 chartam. You interested?" She handed me the ID.
"Yes actually. Paying up front or payments?"
"You say that like you have the money on you to pay it all up front." Dumb ass was staying true to his name. I just shrugged.
"Id need to run home but yeah. I could pay upfront." I uncrossed my arms and placed them in the pockets of my jacket. I don't have my own place and Lucy buys all tho food so everything I've made is just luck by around. The third person who hadn't spoken this whole time stepped forwards. He looked more formal the the other two.
"How long would that take?"
"About 7 minuets." The man smiled. And held his hand out. I shook it
"Then it's a deal."

It's been a month sense I bought that building and it's been hard to hold two jobs at once. The original building was an Ice cream parlor so I gutted the inside and refurnished everything making sure all the base structures were up to code. I installed a kitchen and café just behind the counter. The tables that were in here were all wooden and worn down. I decided to save them for bonfires or something who knows. Now there's just a pile of wooden chairs and tables at Lucy's place. She wasn't happy but she's totally down for a huge bonfire. A couple coworkers helped me do a lot of the changes to the building. Fauna helped the demolition team while Flora completely painted one of the walls with a giant floral mandala. I was impressed. The sins all decided to help as well in their own ways.
Gluttony and I made a menu, Sloth (Who I actually don't know very well) helped with furniture, Envy helped organize the counter, barista area, and kitchen, greed helped me instal security systems, and Anger and Pride attempted to brake them, and Lust an Gluttony tested all the food.
