Chatper 6 ~ Strangers

"I AM STARVING!"

"STOP WHINING AND MAKE FOOD THEN!"

"YAY!"

I jumped up and ran into the kitchen instead of yelling down the hallway at Lucy. She was still in the bathroom but I was starving. I have been unreasonably tired and hungry lately.

Last night ended up in a bunch of emotions and other gross things but it was nice. Lucy and I managed to get Even closer then we were.

Impossible I know. She's practically my mom.

I grabbed a pan and threw it on the stove before grabbing some eggs and a bowl. I cracked 5 eggs and whisked them together. 3 for me 2 for Lucy. I threw some Sriracha in with them.  I also made some hash browns and used the rest of the sausage from last night. In 15 minuets I had finished cooking and Lucy walked in just as I was dishing up.

Her hair was straightened today and she wore a tight red leather dress and pumps.... she looked a little more extra then normal.

"What?" I was staring while lost in thought.

"You look a little extra today." I turned away and finished dishing up my food.

"Oh, you ain't seen nothing yet." She laughed. "I just felt like doing something different today." She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a plate.

"What ever floats your goat." Goliath in a sailor outfit popped into my head and I quickly shoved a giant fork full of eggs into my mouth as I sat down at the table. Time to remove that though from my mind with food.

"Slow down. We got a while before we need to head off. I forgot it was Friday until I heard you screaming this morning." I don't work at the café on Fridays or Saturday's because those are the days I do stuff at night with people. Whether the Sins are up to something or Flora an Fauna drag me somewhere, I'm always out late.

"I'm really hungry..."

"I've noticed. You've cleaned out the fridge these last few days." She sat down at the table.

"I know. It's like I'm always hungry recently." I took another large forkful. Lucy looked like she realized something but she decided to keep it to herself. I didn't care. Food was more important. I finished eating and washed my plate before putting it away.

"You seem to be in a good mood this morning, lots of energy!" Lucy laughed still eating.

"I feel like I could rule the world for some reason today, I haven't even had any coffee!" I grinned.

I have a good feeling today. Somethings gotta be happening or a person will have some good news today. Call it a sixth sense, I feel so good today!

I rushed Lucy along and we headed into work early. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary so I spent the morning working. At lunch I walked in to see what the Sins were up to. I saw only a few of them and they were rushing to get things before rushing out.

"Whoa what's the rush guys?" I asked anyone of the sins. Pride replied quickly.

"That new Ryan kid is causing a ruckus on the rec floor, I came up to let everyone know. You should check it out to!" He seemed excited and concerned at the same time. Gluttony followed him out of the room.

"Pride said something about a fight so I'm guessing there will be bets and stuff. M- Lucy is apparently all ready down there so I wouldn't worry." She left leaving me alone in the room. I looked around and did and one 180 spinning on my heal. I stepped out and followed Gluttony to the elevator. Pride held the door open for me and I entered.
