Okay

I took a deep breath and slowed my heart rate. I'll be fine... I've gone without them before... I'll find them later. I can go a few days without them...

I looked around my room to see the mess I made. Sighing I threw things back into place putting the room back together as best I could. After a short while the room looked better. I really don't have energy to clean. Rubbing my face I grabbed my mask leaving the room. I slipped it on walking directly down the giant staircase and to the entrance. I pulled the main door open and left flipping the light off.

Ark is already at work. I snapped at him this morning so he let me sleep in. I didn't pull myself out of bed for hours... I feel useless today. I closed the door behind me and shoved my hands in my pockets. The last thing I want to do is sort files in the archives. Call me rebellious but fuck work. I pulled out my phone and scrolled through my contacts walking down the street away from the Afterlife building. I pressed down on Ryan's contact and put the phone to my ear flipping my hood down. My hair was wrapped into two sections that fell over my shoulders and past my ribs. I like my long hair. It's a shame it's hidden.

"Hello?" Ryan answered.

"Hey, can you tell Ark I won't be at work today? Or just say I'm with you. Not feeling work today."

"Yeah, anything you wanna talk about? Ive been told I can be a good... a good listener." They stuttered meaning they were neutral today.

"No... maybe another day... I just want to explore things today." I could hear the disappointment in their voice.

"Okay. I'll let... I'll let him know. Stay safe E." They hung up and I put my phone back in my pocket. Ark doesn't know I have one... he doesn't know a lot of things. I love him dearly but recently he's pulled the reigns to tight and sometimes you just gotta run. My arms folded over my chest I continued down the road watching things as I walked. I left someone step into a wall next to me and I turned to see familiar blonde hair.

"What do you want Puck...." I turned away and went back to people watching.

"Am I not allowed to say hi to a friend? You seem to be in a sour mood today. What's wrong?" He had a hint of sarcasm in his voice. He isn't acting normal. Normally he's more timid, not speaking up unless he gets excited.

"Its a long story."

"I think that's a lie. Your not taking your meds are you..." I stoped walking and looked at him.

"How did you know I take meds, more so that I stoped..." under my mask confusion covered my face.

"Lucky guess. You show symptoms of it." He stoped walking and turned to me blue eyes shining in the late morning sun. "You seem like you want to get away from today." He extended a hand to me. "Care for a tour out of town?" I was hesitant... his normal bubbly excited persona which reflects mine was gone. Replaced with something more mysterious and sinister. I was intrigued. I took his hand and he smiled gently guiding me into the Ally across from us. Red flags fired but slowly settled when he let go on my hand drawing something in the air. After a moment a pink portal appeared. "After you my lady..."

"Where are we going?"

"To see an old friend of mine. Sadly he doesn't get out much." I turned to puck unexpectedly and caught a glimpse of Green in his eyes. Another flag went off and I stayed stationary for a moment.
