Chapter Sixteen ~ Drunk

The bar was bustling as always. The sins found there normal seats and I sat in mine. Goliath himself wandered over and sat with us for awhile chatting. He offered the first round free for us and there was a chorus of cheers.

"What's the most expensive drink you have?" It was an innocent question but the group went quiet for a moment. "What?"

"Unicorn tears..." greed said pulling a flashlight from who knows where. He flicked it on and started talking like he was telling a ghost story. "It May just be the most intoxicating drink known to man kind. With a mixture of vodka and run with a little hint of who knows what it's the afterlife special blackout drink. The beautiful colors and somehow fruity raspberry taste are horribly twisted by the fact that even the mighty death himself can't Handel one. Although I've seen Sloth slam three of those things and only get giggly." He flicks the flashlight off.

"I haven't had one of those in a long time..." Lust pondered for a moment. "Do we want to actually drink tonight?"

"What do you mean by actually drink?" I was genuinely curious.

"Devin, we come here to have a good time and hang out. Once in a blue moon we actually party... all the stories you hear, the rumors. There from parties." Pride was channeling his inner story telling Greed. Everyone seemed a little hesitant before Lust smacked the table a bit.

"Fuck it, let's do it!" Goliath smiled a bit and raised and eyebrow.

"Please try to avoid property damage. I'll have em right out for you. How many do I need?" He looked around the group and a few hands went up. I saw Lust, Pride, Greed, Anger hesitantly raises his and Gluttony followed with a comment.

"Throw a plate on onion rings and wings on there too..."

"I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass." Envy spoke clearly and no one pushed. Gotta say. These guys are super mature when it comes to drinking...

"So five, plate of Wings and onion rings?" Goliath stood up.

My conscious started getting the best of me. I could get a lot of info tonight. Even if Envy is off the list I can always remember and write it down later... it isn't right tho.

It's for a good cause tho?

"Make that six..." the party turned towards me.

"Six it is!" Goliath turned on a dime and walked towards the bar.

"Devin are you sure you wanna do that?" Gluttony seemed worried. "I've seen people lose there shit with this drink..." I sighed and nodded.

"I'm just curious on what's gonna happen... I trust you guys and Goliath enough to not let me tear the place down." The group nodded and continued the chatting.

"I remember last time we had these Lust kept trying to kiss everyone!" Greed snickered. Lust shot back at him.

"At least I can mildly hold myself together after one. You tried to pickpocket yourself." That got a laugh out of everyone.

Before we knew it the drinks arrived and Gluttony popped and onion ring in her mouth. By the end of the night the table shared at least 5 more baskets. The drinks were actually very pretty to look at. The drink itself was a swirled ice drink. The colors I could see were black, light blue, purple, and pink. Glitter floated around in it and a solid half inch of clear blue syrup coated the bottom of the glass. the glasses around the table varied in shape and all had different toppings. All with whipped cream but each had different sprinkles. Greeds was fucking covered in disco dust, Anger had heart sprinkles as did Gluttony. Lust had a candy cane in hers that was white and pink instead of red. Prides had rainbow sprinkles. Mine had black sugar sprinkled over the top. Everyone seemed content and Goliath gave a smile and a wave leaving with a good luck fired at me. Envy looked at the group and a bit of a smirky looking smile crawled across her face. "You guys are going to be to much for Even me..." she adjusted her glasses and stole and onion ring. Everyone grabbed a straw and started drinking.
