Returning to New York after everything was a culture shock. Being in Wakanda for a few days after what had happened. Emma wanted to stay, she wanted to fight along side her mentor to stop this powerful foe -- however, he forbid her from doing so.
The rich and powerful Tony Stark had paid for Emma's trip home, and with Happy Hogan waiting for her at the airport. The trip back was quite a small adventure for Emma, but she kept her thoughts about everything at bay. She didn't want to feel so sadden on the trip back.
When she came back to American, she just fumbled with that necklace -- that locket.
When she returned to Queens, she saw the effect of the madman Titan who caused chaos in her home -- her world.
Happy drove her to the Avengers new location in upstate, that was where her mother was taken. Tony had given Happy orders to bring Leslie Sterling out of rehab and also bring May Parker to the compound for their safety.
Emma sees the place upstate. She remembered how Peter described it to her when he told her about the time Tony first made the offer for him to become an Avengers.
Happy pulled up and stopped the car. He got out but Emma hesitated. She didn't want to go in, she didn't want to be there. Happy opened the door, giving the girl a somber look. She climbs out of the car and walks inside with Happy leading her.
The place being huge was an understatement. Emma freeze when saw the familiar faces of Pepper Potts, her own mother, and May Parker.
Pepper seemed to have noticed Emma first, a sad smile left her face. Leslie noticed her daughter second, and sprinted over. Emma sees the three women were watching the news, discussing the aftermath of what had happened.
Leslie wrapped her arms around Emma and held her tightly. Lucky for Emma, all her injuries healed up by then, so her mom wouldn't have been overly worried. Emma saw Happy approach May and comfort her, the young aunt began to sob.
Why is it that Emma got to go home and Peter didn't. Why did he have to go but she was still here. It made no sense to her and it just made her more upset and angry thinking about it.

Three months later.
Perch on a building was Static in her suit. The black spandex with a hood and thumb holes. Black combat boots and a mask covering her eyes.
Standing perched on that building was two other figures. Police sirens rang through the city and Static turns to the two figures; one boy and the other was a girl.
"Ready, Sparks?" Asked a male voice.
Static nods, "Let's get to work."
