-The Beginning of The End-

Another normal week of school went by. Many students and teachers were shocked about Emma being adopted by Tony and Pepper. Her legal last name was no longer Sterling, it was now Stark.

It has been quite an adjustment for Emma actually, however, she wasn't going to allow the new last name to change who she is.

Like always, her and her gang was hanging out at her place. They weren't patrolling tonight. As of late, crime rate was at a low. And instead, Emma was having the group just work out and train.

Emma was sitting down, criss-cross on the floor. A laptop was in front of her and she was focusing on the screen seriously.

"Em," MJ called, "What's so important on the screen?"

This gained everyone's attentions.

Emma sighs, "A while back, Tony mentioned as he was going through Kaito's notes he discovered something."

"Kaito? Like the guy who was in charge of the-," Miles' voice trailed off.

Emma looks at him, "The guy that tortured me. My dad's boss, hell he was Henderson's boss too." She said.

Everyone frowns. Peter steps over and kneels down next to her. Looking at the work she had on the laptop screen.

"So what were in the notes?" Peter asks.

Emma sighs, "Apparently I wasn't the only kid tested." She said, "Tony saw there were at least two others."

"What?" Cindy gasped, "They tortured more children?"

Emma rubs the bridge of her nose, "Yeah. Two, that was in his notes. Who knows if there were more."

Ned looks at his friend, "And you're trying to find them?"

Emma looks at the group of friends, "Yeah," She said, "I mean I for eight years I dealt with the crap alone- I began a hero alone. I didn't have the guidance that I have now."

Peter sat down next to her, "And you want to give them some guidance."

Emma nods, "It sounds stupid but- I was these kids. I know the pain they felt." She said.

Miles stepped forward, "It doesn't sound stupid."

Cindy nods, "It sounds amazing," She says smiling.

MJ nods with a soft smile, "Yeah. If you need help just ask Ned or myself."

Ned nods with a big smile on his face.

Emma held the smile on her face, "Thanks guys."

It was a little later. The group were hanging out in her living room of Emma's apartment. While they were hanging out, in the lair, Ned's computer was still doing a search for the Green Goblin.
