-11 days since Peter vanished-

Friday. Finally Friday. Emma had arrived to school by her "personal driver", Happy. The driver even opened the door for her, which gained attention from the young teen. This was something Emma liked to avoid, attention.

"Now remember," Happy starts, "I'll be here to pick you up after school."

Emma turns to him, "Okay and you'll also be picking up my friends." She grins at him.

Happy rolls his eyes, "Whatever."

Emma slugs her backpack on her shoulders and gives Happy one last look, "Have a good day, Happy."

He had a small smile, "You too, kid."

Emma smiles and heads to school. The students had began to gossip. Gossip about Emma and her home life. The gossip mostly started from Gwen and her friends, which Emma had nothing against Gwen nor her friends, she just didn't like people just running their mouths where they shouldn't.

Emma reached her locker and unlocked it. She saw Cindy walking over with a smile on her face, Emma gave Cindy a confused expression.

"You seem cheery this morning?" Emma asks, "What happened?"

Cindy leans close to Emma, "There was this guy who was mugging this women near my apartment this morning, and I just- put on my suit and stopped the guy."

Emma turns to Cindy, "You what?"

Cindy nods, "I was amazing, Emma. I stopped the guy with my webs and he was stuck to the wall, and I gave the women back her purse." She said, "I phoned the police after I got far enough."

"And no one knew it was you?" Emma asks.

Cindy shakes her head, "No," She still smiled, "I think you're training has been paying off."

Emma turns from Cindy to her locker. Truth be told, Cindy and Miles caught on quite quicker than Emma had assumed. They were both stronger than Emma, much like Peter. Emma was back at just the girl who can fly and create electricity. She doesn't have super strength or super senses.

"So you're ready to go out into the field on your own?" Emma asks.

Whereas Miles was pushing Emma yesterday that he is ready to be in the field, and even shadowed her on a less hyped night of patrol, Cindy was the opposite. She was more nervous and on the fence about jumping into the whole situation, which Emma respected and gave her space to figure out herself.

Cindy nods, "Yeah. I think I'm ready to give it a shot." She said smiling.

Emma nods as she grabs her books, "Alright." She turns to Cindy, "I guess a part of training is getting the experience in to learn from it. So tonight you and Miles in the field with me."

"Did I hear correctly?" Walking up behind Emma was Miles, "We're in the field?"

Emma turns to him, "Yes. Don't make it a huge deal." She said.
