-9 days since Peter vanished-

After school, Emma had brought Miles to the library for his moment of truth. To be tested by MJ and the rest of the Academic Decathlon.

As they entered the library, most of it was empty by a few students studying after school as well as the librarian. But the decathlon members had their own private room.

Emma opens the door allowing both her and Miles to enter, which gained everyone's attentions. The team was sitting at a table, which was square. MJ was sitting on the table and tilted her head at Miles.

"You made it," MJ said, "Didn't think you would or not."

Miles put his backpack down, "Well I am serious about it."

MJ motions to an empty seat, "Sit there and the test shall behind."

Miles nods and sits in the empty seat. MJ was explaining that Miles will be asked a series of questions from different topics that the decathlon offers; science, history, sports, pop culture, geography, etc. She also went on to say that he can only miss two questions, nothing more than that.

"Understand?" MJ asks.

Cindy looks at MJ, "Is this necessary? I mean these rules are so strict?" She asks.

MJ turns to Cindy, "If he's smart enough, this will just be a walk in the park." MJ said.

Everyone gathered around MJ, who was sitting in the seat across from Miles. MJ held note cards in her hands and was shuffling through them.

"Let's start easy," MJ said, "As a warm up. This is basic and everyone should know this. Topic is basic science."

Miles grins, "Bring it on."

"What percentage of the Earth is covered by water?" MJ asks.

Emma knew that questions the second it was read aloud, as did everyone else on the team. Miles had to think about it briefly before nodding to himself that he had the answer.

"Seventy-one percent." Miles had a smug look on his face.

Miles was all smug because he knew he got it right and MJ was not acknowledge it. MJ placed that note card on the table as she held a plain expression on her face as she then read over the next card.

"Next question and next topic, anthropology." MJ said.

Miles frowns. He isn't too knowledgeable in that topic, he had wanted to take a college level course being offered at Midtown but didn't get in.

"What is Australopithecus?" MJ said.

Miles made a face, "Oh shoot- I know this." He said to himself, "Uh- I remember reading about this."

MJ looks at Miles, "You have to give me an answer soon or it'll count as incorrect." MJ said.

Miles closes his eyes, "Its the- the uh genus before humans."
