The Young Avengers: Not Kids Anymore [2]

- Moments after the rescue of Loki and Emma-

The entire team of heroes gathered around Thanos. Guardians on one side and the Avengers on the other side.

Emma had a smirk on her face, "So," Her eyes completely yellow with electricity surrounding her hands, "Shall the fun begin?"

Thanos rose and charged to slam his fist at her, only to be stopped by Peter's webs. Thanos waves his arm around trying to get Peter to let go, only for Hulk to come charging forward and knocking Thanos down.

The beast and Thanos rolled on the ground, until they stopped. Hulk punched Thanos a few times, before Thanos slugged Hulk. Hulk was thrown back and groaned as he started to stand.

Strange was using his magic to make portals around Thanos, to have heroes jump through and attack and then jump through the portals to avoid being hit. Quill did this, as well as Nebula and Gamora.

Hawkeye continued to fire his arrows, exploding the second they hit Thanos' body. And Rocket was going crazy, laughing while firing his gun while sitting on Groot's shoulders. Bucky was next to Clint, firing his bullets at the titan.

War-Machine, Falcon, and Iron-Man flew above firing down their attacks from the sky. Which did some damage to Thanos, expect for it wasn't doing the damage they'd hope. Thanos slugged at Falcon, who flew too close for comfort, and it set him off course.

Strange made a portal for Falcon, Sam, to have a more gentle fall than a serious one. Thor then took it upon himself to jump high in the air, eyes blue and lightning all around him and then swing his hammer across the face of the man titan.

Thanos was thrown back, he rolled on the ground, but managed to rise. He sees Natasha and Wanda, Natasha was firing her gun at the titan and Wanda was throwing energy at him to damage him. Though, Thanos jumped up and went to fall down on them to cause them pain. However, Black Panther shoves both girls out of the way to protect them, and Steve jumped in to take Thanos' blow, but because he is Captain America, it didn't harm him much.

Thanos pushed harder and harder with his fist, Steve struggling and grunting. Then Carol flew in and slammed her fist in the titans' stomach, causing him to stumble back.

Strange turns to Emma, "You need to use the watch now," He said, "Use it and we can stop Thanos for good."

Emma looks at Strange and nods, "Right."

She reached for the watch and then hesitated.

"Or instead of using the watch to kill me, you can just give me the power."

Emma frowns, "No."

The voice of Thanos' pledged her head. Peter got up from dodging an attack from Thanos to notice Emma, her pained expression on her face. He ran over and grabbed her on the shoulders.
